Indian Passport — Passport Application Status Unknown

Hi,
I submitted Passport application for my Minor Son on 22/07/2008.
Below are the details, but still in HTTP://PASSPORT.NIC.IN it is not showing any details for this File ID. I did not even receive the Passport also.

Indian Passport — Passport Application no DLH-A022868- 09

I have applied for Indian Passport on 27th April 2009.
Until now either the passport nor the police verification have taken place.
Kindly inform why such huge delay and the tentative reception of Indian Passport?

I am Rajesh kumar, File no-075073, Key number-[protected]. I applied for passport on 03/07/09 and police verification done on 23/08/09. But in the status of my passport, it is mention that police verification not received. Why is the delay and why the status is wrong? please look into the matter.

madarchodo, kabse try kar raha hoon ki apna status check kar saku magar ho hi nahi raha hai, kaya kar rahe ho tum log.

And I think why the passport office didn't send it through normal post instead of speed/registration post.Their money will be saved(note).

to day is[protected] & i dont received my passport yet & the date of birth shown here is also not correct.my actual date of birth is[protected] & the DOB, shown on status is[protected] which is totaly wrong
& the DOB ON THE on the documnts which i hve attached with application form is absolutly correct
so plz take an immidiate action on it...& send my passport as soon as possible

I have applied my International Passport as on 23 June 2008 and also my File no. is T000131 and receive No. 1267 but till date(05 February 2010) iam not received my Passport even the stesus of same.

I am also not sure if I will receive my passport on time. The status on site shows as: - Passport has been despatched by post on[protected] vide postal Registration Number 10647

Please let people know how to track this.

This is really frustrating for any indian citizen to track the status of the passport application as there is no coordination between the government bodies. If we quote the Postal registration number while enquiring the despatch dept, they simply have one answer tht it is dispatched from the passport office. Similarly if we qoute the same postal registration in the postal dept they have no clue about this so called registration number.Is there a way to trackk????
