Indian Passport — demanding bribe for verification of passport | |||
Hello, I am Dinesh from Ordnance Factory, recently i got my passport and after i receiving a couple of persons came to my home for verification of my passport and my id proof after every thing is completed they said that every thing is clear and clean they asked for a bribe of Rs.500 and they said that it is mandatory to pay it, if not paid the details of verification will not be sent. when i questioned that there is no such rule which is mentioned, for that they answered that we come from a long distance so we need money, if the money is not paid the verification report will not be submitted and the passport issued will be cancelled. In this way they are terrifying innocent people and collecting money & its been continuing since many years so please take action and save innocent people.So please do something about this. i have take a shop at pune nda area in laxmi terrace from mr dhawade , but he is demanding rs 6000 as a bribe from me to give the agreement document as he is saying that he had to give the money to sub registrar as a chai- paniplease help me how to tackle the problem
