[Resolved]  Indian Railway System - IRCTC — Chart preparation and information are not on right time. Due to this, we missed the train

Hi,

Today myself & wife with(PNR No : [protected]) missed the Seald Rajdhani Express as due reason of not receiving on time proper information for our reservation where it's departure time is 4.40 PM IST.

We have booked a Tatkal Reservation for 30-may-2009 trip, our ticket status was listed waiting (no-WL 28 & WL29) till 2pm and again that status was changed to WL22 & WL23 at 3PM on 30th May 2009.

We were trying to reach railway inquiry & custmer care for our ticket status for confrimation, but we didn't get the correct information.

According to customer care, chart should be prepared before 4 hours before the departure time 4.40 PM IST. Perhaps, CHART was not prepared till 4.10 PM IST and was also showing our reservation status with waiting list no(WL 22 & WL 23). I dont know, why railway system is correcting it's failure for which people are suffering in this type incident. I belive, there might have some communication faillure for this incident but this should be intimated to its customer about the same. So that proper action can have taken.

As a common customer, we are staying far long from sealdah railway station, and should recieve proper railway information(e.g., Railway reservation status from correct information system) before minmum 2 hr before the departure time, and unfortunately we came to know our ticket reservation status was confrimed at 4.25 PM IST, for which we were not able to board ourself in train. For this we want proper justice for this railway system failure. We have already booked a complaint(Serial No- 527964) in Sealdah railways system at the same time and not sure, if it would go in proper channel to provide us proper justification.

We can finally say, we should have clean and clear railway system which should be visible to every user( from a common man to upper level). We shall ready to suffice proof to higher level if required for verification.

Kindly note this as a formal application to railway system and if it is not a correct address, please forward our concern to propert channel. If this subject is not actively taken to proper channel, i may go-ahead to help of Indian Law for a common citizen to get proper justification.

Kindly take immediate action ASAP.

Yes, i am also facing the same issue.i have booked a Tatkal Reservation ticket Train no 16042. the train already started from source station the train will reached my station next two hrs.But the ticket shows wait list (WL4)and chart not prepared regarding this to whome should i contact to complient.

Yes, i am also facing the same issue.i have booked a ticket Reservation ticket Train no 12879 .PNR Number :[protected]E - TICKET) the train already started from source station the train will reached my station next two hrs.But the ticket shows wait list (WL6, 7, 8, 9, 10)and chart not prepared regarding this to whome should i contact to complient.
Its possible to DALLAL to CONFIRM a waiting ticket by making a phone call to railway officer

I had booked my ticket from New Delhi to Kazipet by Rajdhani express on 30th April 2014 for date of journey is 3 JUN 2014 in 3rd AC (PNR-[protected]). I got RSWL2 and 3. Till the chartings was done my wait list no is the same. No improvement in Status (more than 30 days). Now the question is why Indian Railways are fooling the people with various names of WL - RSWL, PQWL, GNWL. If the ticket is up to Remote Area then they do not get GNWL and chances of getting confirmation is very less. There is no value for Small town travellers. While booking, are they providing any discounts for travelling to small towns? When the railways are charging the same amount (Other than regular ticket cost) from every traveller then there should be only one type of WL. First come first cancellations will effect to every one for getting confirmed seat in Railways and as per present system, Indian Railways is only meant for those who are travelling from Starting place to End place. How can the common person will spend that much amount where as he is not in need to travel till End Place.

I request only to rectify the defects in Indian Railway Reservation system and make it user friendly.

refund my balance

sir, i booked a ticket on 3rd sept 2013,but unfortunatively i could not book the ticket due to slow internet connection.And my balance has been deducted from my account.

dear sir, txn#[protected] sbi money deducted throuth my card SBI [protected] while reservation booking. but reservation not done

REFUND NOT RECEIVED AFTER 2.5 MONTHS

PNR NO.[protected] The refund amount against above PNR has not been received till date despite several e-mails.

poor quality experience

On dated 11 aug 2014 i have order a plate of samosa in irctc chandigarh having a bill no A-50. The quality of the food is as much as poor that i couln't finish a single plate
