[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — complaint against product purchased

i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

I have booked an order with Indiatimes onlines shopping and paid thru credit card. the amount was debited from credit card. When I recieved the delivery after 13 days, I was told that the order was sent thru COD ( cash on delivery) and I am supposed to pay the amount in cash also, whereas th amount is alreadry debited from my credit card. I sent the Mail as well as SMS to the customer service department. But there is no revert from them. I have been cheated by the INDIATIMES ONLINE SHOPPING
I have purchased a book from india time online shopping, he book showing availability on the page steel today but ifs out of stock, so after many calls they refund in form of GC (Gift certificate)
After again many calls on hold I have spoken to a one cheted lady, & talk tha i want my money back in any case you have no right to give me Gift certificate, they noy happy to reply me & cut of the phone, NOW IN ANY CASE I WANT MY MONEY BACK MY ORDER NO IS[protected]

I am writing to you after struggling with your contact center for over 2 months now. I was last updated on 28th Oct that my order has been cancelled and I will get a refund in 7 working days. It has been almost 25 days since then but I have not heard back from Indiatimes. Nobody even seems to be bothered to call me back or reply to my email.
Request your help in closing this case and getting me the refund of my money.

After sometimes I have received a mail that my order is cancelled and your money will be refunded.

But till date I haven't received my money back on repeated reminders. Also these ruthless unprofessional people now have stopped even responding my mails.

indiatimes-shopping is realy lose its image, I am a customer of indiatime shopping from 2006. But now the customer service is realy worst. The customer service department is now only cheating department now thease day's.I wrote many times but nobody listening. What is the mean of the Email & customer care Numbers, The mail 's reply will never u get. & all time the custmer care representative are busi & hold you up to 15 to 20 minuits and Finaly you will lose your calls.Indiatimes shopping is the open cheating house. Realy the Experiance with Indiatimes Shopping is very bad.
All consumers be care not to buy anything from indiatimes shopping.
we ordered a pearl set containing 78 items in total...it is a useless set!!!more than half of the items are not matching with what we ordered!! this set costs Rs.3000 and now it feels like we have wasted all those Rs. 3000 for nothing.. all the item look like they are made of very low quality pearl which is vulnerable to breakage at any point of time.
The Poorest Customer Responses.

I had ordered toys for my kids in August 2009, & had received the same within a week, but none of them actually worked.

I have been constantly following up on this with the Customer Care since then, but haven't got any response on the same.

Nobody knows, what to to do in the organisation. Noone can take a stand on how to respond to the customer. And the worst bit is, Indiatimes doesn't pay their phone bills to call back their customer who are going nuts chasing them like mad people.
It is the most unreasonable, unprofessional organisation existing in the country today.

I urge anyone & everyone to not purchase anything from Indiatimes Shopping. Because you will doing only one thing, wasting your hard earned money.

Indiatimes Shopping — Actual product is different against order & complimentary gift not received

We had purchase music system against order number [protected], We had not received complimentary gift (lunch box) of Rs 199/-,Which is to be receive against credit card payment which was communicate over phone.I had made payment by credit card only so I am eligible for the same.Secondly they confirm that if we will order designer watch o[censored]nisex with this order than cost will be only Rs 100/- we had given order for the same (ref.order number[protected]. But in actual product is simple watch of Vesttin.

Kindly let us know future course of action.
We bought 2 infra-fitness massagers from indiatimes.com through telephoning on 31July '09.Out of which 1 machine was defective which was conveyed immediately to KARCE INDIA. In reply to my complaint the lady made a lazy excuse that courier service is not in function and sorts of excuses just to delay so that the product passes warranty period.
Ultimately they pick up the machine for replacement and after a long delay the same machine was sent as it is on 25 January '10 from Delhi. In response to this we lodged a complaint on the website of indiatimes shopping on 27 Jan '10 and again on 9 Feb '10. In reply to this we got an assurance of action within 48 hours. But till today we have not received a mail or a call from indiatimes.com. Please look into this and do justice.

My name is Sneha and I also become cheated by indiatimes...I ordered two items and i didn't get it so far..Now its about one month..In that it shows payment verified...No other status..When I mailed there is no response...Tried to call, i didn't get the proper reply...You people know, I made shopping from Sunsim, rediff and tradus also..All the others, sunsim was the best..Its because they called me 5 times to verify that I got that product and also they delivered it in time...In tradus case, there was no correspondence or mailing, they gave the product within two weeks without any notice...No calls also...In my experiences, I prefer sunsim.in and all others made me little bit tensions and indiatimes made me cheat...

Indiatimes Shopping — product replacement not sent

I have been following up for replacement from 19th January.

Customer care number is not answering complaint calls for more than a month. There is no way to make a telephone. and also there were no replied to numerous mails sent.

Indiatimes shopping is taking customers for granted. Sell and forget. No after sales service.

I have ordered e phone by phone however have not recieved the set yet. They have sent a CD of third class movie and do not have the order delievered. The money has been charged and waiting to get the refund... it seems unlikely... BEWARE...

I strongly agree to other complaints. REFRAIN from purchasing stuff from Indiatimes shopping. because of people like these, we are not able to trust Internet Shopping. Not only that, they are bringing bad name to 'INDIATIMES'.

I had requested for e-phone product (from Pune Mirror indiatimes add) on 2nd March, and was advised that the product woul dreach me in 5-7 days. Infact the advertisement itself says, 10 days gauraneed shipment. The product did not reach me even afer 12 days, on which i called the customer care. I was told that i need not bother and the product will definately reach me in another 5 days. I waited but did nto recieve the product. I called again, to which teh executive again tells me to wait for another 7 days. I thought of speaking to any supervisor or manager, and to my surprise i was told no-one is available to speak to me. Also their is no escalation mechanism. No mail id to which one can write and compalin.

Now after 20 days, i have received a different product than what was ordered and that to defective piece.

I have purchased 2 nos Motorola Bluetooth handset H500 and recvd only 1 piece. Partial delivery complaint as per complaint# 186120 dtd 23/3/10. I have been following up with the company but they are only dragging the matter.Need help.

Indiatimes Shopping — wrongly debited amount not reversed and the sony camera not yet received

I was purchasing the Sony digi cam on 27.03.2010. however my credit card has been debited three times with Rs16189/- each.I have send the mail to them for reversing the same but there is no response from that side and 14 days have been over and i have not recieved the camera also.
hi, I am totally agree with you people. don't buy any thing from INDIATIMESHOPING. i have ordred 2 T- shirt of 2 IPL team in second week of march, and i have paid for this by credit card, they said it will reach you in 10 working days, now after almost a month and when IPL is about to finish, ihave not recieved iy yet. they kept saying it will reach you in 2 days. now i have decided to lodge legal complaint in consumer court. DONT BUY ANY THING FROM INDIATIMESHOPING. they are bunch of crookes.
