i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

My letter to Indiatimes Shopping below reflects the harrowing time we had with them. They are Highly unprofessional and totally AVOIDABLE -

As per the mail below, I'm following up on this case on behalf of my brother Mr Arun Sharma <order no.[protected]>. He had ordered a Mobile Phone in Sep 2009 for approx Rs. 7000. He got delivery in Sep 09 but the pack had been tampered with and did not contain the phone. Pls see attached all communication in this regard.

Inspite of continuous followup for months over emails and phone we did not see any positive response and are yet to receive either the phone or the money back.

It has been a painful experience and we are now forced to take up the matter in the consumer court.


Also the same letter will be posted on all shopping review sites to make sure more consumers are NOT cheated by your flashy websites and advts and ZERO Service Quality business.

I agree with the lackadaisical attitude of India times Shopping Customer (don't)care agents.

I had subscribed for the membership of books club of the same group over the net, using my credit card. Before I received the (so-called membership with "free books") the courier came and took the membership money.

I had a an impression of e-transaction not happening and hence paid the money. Yet when contacted, they had added my membership twice!!

I do not understand how one person, same address could have 2 membership. They have refused to refund the same, and it is more than a year since i lodged a complaint. My 550 rupees X 2 = 1100 has been swallowed and shamelessly they have done nothing!!

Indiatimes Shopping / 3. 2 Touch Screen Mobile Phone — Not provided the correct product as shown in advertisement

I had purchased a 3.2" Touch screen mobile phone from indiatimes shopping by placing an order on 18th march'10 after seeing their advertisement in 18th March'10 edition of Times Of India and i had received the same on 24th march by paying them Rs. 5499 for product and 250 for shipping charge making it altogather Rs. 5749.00 as it was a cash on delivery. But when i checked the product it doesn't contain FM-Radio and Bluetooth feature, however in advertisement it is clearly written that the mobile contains both the features. So i immediately placed a replacement or cancellation request to indiatimes team on 27th march and re-shipped the product to them via TNT couriers on 30th march. But they again sent the same phone to me and i again talked to indiatimes people for more than 100 times and again re-shipped the product to them with a new cancellation request and an application for cancellation or replacement of phone with shipment. And now when i tried to contact them for more than 200 times stating that why they are not cancelling my order or providing me correct phone with FM and bluetooth, when i had made my payments 2 months ago on 24th march. They are either not giving me satisfactory answer nor delivering correct product to me.

Attaching the copy of advertisement dated 18th march of TOI, from which order was placed.Request you to please intervene and please help me to get my money back. India times shopping is the worst on-line shopping that i had experienced.

Indiatimes Shopping — Order cancelled, No refund.

I had placed an order No[protected] on[protected] and paid through credit card. While placing the order, I made a mistake of ordering for a desktop RAM instead of Laptop RAM. I wanted to cancell the order.

I did call on the helpline in Mumbai regarding cancellation. I was advised that you do not take the delivery and the product will be returned, order cancelled and money will be refunded within 4 days after that.

I sent a mail for cancellation of the order is only within 10-11 hours to the time of placing the order.

Till this date I did not receive the product nor the refund is given. Every time I send mail / call the helpdesk, I am told to wait for 5-6 days It is already 27 days. I think I am robbed by this plain cloath cyber robbers.
Below is the details for shopping we did with Indiatimes but we cancelled the order its been almost one month now but they havent refunded the money to us... its this Consumer Forum is really strong and worthy then we would request to take come action against this frauds,

Further, the talk with Mr.Rahul (please refer the complaint #247594 dated 04/05/10 @ 14.30pm & recorded voice ) & assurance of refund, i placed another order[protected] & purchased the same type mobile through India times.

Since i brought 2 LG Arena mobile from India times, am NOT able to afford one more mobile. So i NEED the REFUND itself. This is MY MONEY, what i had paid in advance & NOT asking anything FREE from India Times. Its more than a month also, you are trying to make me foolish with Mails. So am requesting politely for the Refund of Money earlier as possible.

Indiatimes Shopping — Non refund of partial delivery

The biggest theif available on this earth. Made a purchase for karachi bakery friut cookies. The overpriced stuff almost three times the actual price. I was shocked to see that only half delivery was made which was cleary reflected from courier as well. After 2 months of chase and logging ten complaints with the no -cooperating and rude customer care I finally received the statement WE CANT DO ANYTHING AND YOU WONT BE GETTING ANYTHING.
With disgusting floor managers like Amit Kumar and Amit Bhattacharya more busy than US president finally dont have grace to explain the customer why his money is stolen by Indiatimes and the seller.

I have bought SCI Phone Rs.3999 in last week of February & gave it for Replacement on 6 March at TNT Express. Then always I did inquiry about my phone & also sent my feedback one by one day. But from u always I got answer "wait till Monday or Tuesday", "Apka product Friday ya Saturday tak Apko mil jayega, tab tak intejar kijiye". Last week You told this Monday you'll get mobile or Demand Draft of Refund. But nothing happened. Now You demand of Replacement Courier Receipt, I sent it too. But no call, no reply. Are u get happy by making us sad? What is the limit of wait to get mobile?

My experience with indiatimes shopping is extreemly bad . I had placed an order for 1TON ac on 4 june till today 23june it is not despatched .When I call customer care they justified delay and give me a new date, on email no response..This is my first dealing with indiatimes shopping and will be last.
I am sharing my experience with every body using all available means via sms.telephonic, orkut.I request all of you do same then only these company will learn lesson.

Indiatimes Shopping — Non Delivery of Nikon L100

My order was placed with Indiatimes Shopping for Nikon Coolpix L100 digital camera on 11 June 2010 evening and it was registered as 12 Jun 2010 (as told by customer care executive). It was offered at price of Rs.8690 including shipping charges and the amount was paid through credit card. This advertisement appeared in Times of India on 11 June 2010. It was told that the product will be delivered in 10 days and when spoken to customer care, they informed that it was dispatched on 27 June 2010 through a courier service called Click courier and the seller's name being N R Infotech.

The product hasnt been delivered till date (3 July 2010). The order number is[protected]. When the seller was contacted at[protected], they asked us to cancel the order if we cannot wait for another 7 days.

I ordered a GSM WIRELESS SPYPHONE DEVICE from indiatimes shopping on 18/04/10 & i get that in 15 days but after i opened it there is no manual how to use it & device is also not working after that i call on helpline at[protected] indiatimes shopping they give me other helpline no. I had a very bad experience with Indiatimes shopping as I usually shop the products which are shown on television or the ad given in the newspaper.
Till the moment I was shopping with HS18 but this was the 1st time when I shopped with Indiatimes but never expected that I am investing my money in such a fake product as the the I pod which is shown in the ad that may differ but can't completely changed.
I ordered the i-pod on 12th April'10 my order No. is[protected] & sub-order No. is 3056233 somehow I got my product on 28th April'10.but it was a defective peace I requested to take that back & give my money back as I was very upset after seeing that fake product.
Then it was committed to me that will be replacing you with the new i-pod.The TNT courier Service person took the i-pod from me & given back to Indiatimes since then it is been almost 02 months I m following up for my i-pod but I have nothing in hand.I don't know what kind of system or procedures you all are following but the services are really pathetic & non-professional.
I am sure if you will carry these kind of services & attitude in future you will loose your business as your customers are suffering unnecessarily as only the mistake which they made was they shopped with Indiatimes.
It is my sincere request to all plz plz don't shop anything from Indiatimes as all the products are fake they are not to help you they are to cheat & to fool you.

Indiatimes Shopping — Substandard iPro* cell phone delivered

With much trepidation I have purchased iPro* cell phone through tele-calling and my order id is [protected] dated 23.6 2010 and one Mr. G. Kumar had booked the order. I got delivery of the product on 1.7.2010. I have not yet purchased TF memory card and so I cannot access many of its important features. Now my complaints are:
(a) Gift coupon worth Rs. 250/ was not sent with the parcel.
(b)The clock runs slow by more than 20 minutes a day.
(c)Voice and the speaker in of very poor quality. Nether my voice can be recognized nor is what I say clear to the listener. The sound quality of the radio is also very bad.
(d)The jack of the charger bends very easily and I am afraid it may snap after few uses.
I have lodged a complaint to-day for replacement of the cell phone immediately and also have asked for my gift coupon for Rs. 250/.
I wish I had read the reviews of Indiatimes products and its services before doing the purchase on an impulse.

I had purchased from Indiatimes one Caller ID bluetooth model Kovol.kv.1000 vide Order no.[protected]. The product I received ( vide invoice no 597 from Teknix, Mumbai ) not at all working, so I complained to Indiatimes and got complaint ticket no. 374284. I enquired twice after gap of 7 days each time, lastly Customer Care person replied that my complaint was not registered earlier and gave me new Complaint No.348993. Thus period of 15 days gone waste.The service they provide is not at all satisfactory.There are chances that you spoil your money., so better not spend large amount in shopping hare.
I was order mobile on advertisement as enclosed, order number is[protected], but received handset was not having features as mentioned in adverisement, physical look also diiferent than shwon in enclosed adverisement.

So, I was registered compliant to get replacement, reference complaint number is 282999.

It was advised me to pack the peice & handover to TNT Courier for replacement, I did as per suggestion, but on yesteday I received replacement of same Mobile hand set which supplied previously.

This is very serious, I am fed up with your service, hence refund my money, otherwise send us proper handset, if it is does happend then, I decided to go in cosumer court, also publish the way Indiatime cheating to customer, in same new paper, in which you are doing adaverisement.

Indiatimes Shopping — Cheats!

Hello friends,

Beware before you buy anything from Indiatimes.com. They have the most pathetic customer service staff and the worst products in the word to offer. I bought this Portable Adjustable Table from them on 20-Apr-10 (Order No.[protected] and today is 7-Jul-10 and I am still waiting for the product.

I have never trusted these online stuffs but I took the risk on this one.

I placed the order on 20-Apr and recieved the good after some 15-20 days. When I checked the parcel, I found the table a used one which was even broken from one end. I immediately called their customer care and also wrote to them to replace my product. After a wait of 7 days, they sent me an SMS telling me how to courier it back to them. And I did so. Since then I have been calling them almost every day.

They dont have a toll-free number and it takes hell lot of time to connect to a Cust care guy (thereby increasing my mobile bill everyday). The guys are so unpolished and ill-informed. They refuse to connect me to a Manager on the floor. I have myself worked in Call centers during my student days and as far as I recall it is the right of the customer to talk to the supervisor.


Anyways, for replacement, they first kept promising me that I will get it in next 5 days, 7 days etc. Finally, it has crossed a month and when I called furiously these guys, the agent told me that my product cannot be replaced because they are out of stock! Can you beleive this? What kind of joke are they playing? So much harassment and finally telling me that they cant give me my thing.


Ok, I thought, if they cant deliver, let them give me back my money. Now its 14 days since that conversation, yet no sign of any wire transfer! I called these cheats today and now they want another 3 days to transfer my money. If they want my money as charity, they should have asked that way. Instead of fooling innocent people with their ’online’ tactics.


I had always trusted Times Of India brand and have read their newspaper since 20 years. But this is a brand they have started that will really kill their market worth. Hope someone is listening..... but then they don’t have Managers to listen to us! God, help these souls!

Indiatimes: 1gb Gaming Device With Fm And Camera — Substandard product and no refund

I dont trust these online shopping but impulsively bought a 1GB gaming device with camera and fm by paying through credit card on 28th March 2010. The product I received did not have the features advertised and appeared to be a cheap gadget with no user instructions. I complained for cancellation of my purchase and return of my money. It was accepted and processed. I was even given cancellation number and all but instead of giving me the refund as promised the same product was re-shipped. I complained again and the same process was repeated. I again complained and returned the product. This time I got a message on 21st July 2010 that my purchase has been cancelled and I would get my refund within 12 working days. But the very next day I got the product again. The customer support says the purchase cannot be cancelled without giving me any reason.
I think Indiatimes are just bigger cheats!
Yesterday[protected] i will receive my order iphone touch screen mobile its body is good but this is not a single time ON and given any response when i attached with charger Or computer


Plz give me response quick this is the Wi-fi fone Rs 6189 paid. my mobile no is[protected]
