Dear sir,
I made a ticket on ircts.co.in, on last 22 jul.2010. now i want to cancel a ticket, but my Id was locked. The PNR No is [protected] and transaction Id is [protected], train No 8477/UTKAL EXPRESS date of journey09 oct 2010.
Please cancel the ticket of S RAYSINGH Female 23, confirm /B259/UB.

IRCTC — IRCTC not refunding my money

I had reserved a ticket via IRCTC website, but train was late more than 3hours,So I went by bus to destination.
To refund my amount I loggeg a TDR via IRCTC.
More than 6 months have been completed but till amount is not refunded.
I have written a lot mail to irctc customer care, but they are saying your application has been sent to
Indian Railway.They are saying these words since 3 months.
Now I am very upset regarding this.

I am submitting my TDR details. I have been running from pillar to post to get my rightful moeny. But no one is there to listen me. IRCTC is also helpless. Please help me. Is any one listening to this hapless consumer????????????

I have filed the TDR on 11th May, 2009 but I have not received the money from IRCTC. The details of the TDR are as under:-

c. Date of Journey : 09th May 2009

d. Train Number : 2421

e. Name of the Passenger : Pragyan Paramita

f. Age of the Passenger : 26

g. Sex : Female

h. Reason for filing the TDS : The ticket of the passenger was not confirmed, which is the reason why the passenger could not board the Train.

In this regard, I have also send a mail to you before. But till now I am waiting for the refund.

Please return the money, as you know from the fact that it is more than 3 months I have been waiting for the money to receive.
i had completed the booking process and the payment process by sbi debit card for mohan rowlo for the ticket of bhubaneswar to howrah for 30 nov 2009 in jansatabdi express but after the process following link was displayed REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankresponse.do?com.broadvision.session.new=Yes&
I booked ticket from Chennai central to vijayawada, through HDFC bank Narration:[protected]-INDIAN RAILWAYS, Ref. No: [protected]. Amount has been debited from my account for ticket Rs.224+Rs.11, but i havent received my ticket. That transaction is not confirmed and page became blank. there is some technical problem with that site. when will that money get refund ?
Dear Sir,

This is regarding tatkal services in Indian Railways.Every day morning the tatkal services of Indian Railways through IRCTC is not possible between timings 8.03 a.m to 8.15 a.m. After 8.15 a.m only it will be allowed to do booking, but by that time all the tatkal tickets will be over. For a long time I have been facing this problem and I got the same feed back from many people. I request you to solve this issue.

a Dead Earthworm found in paneer curry in food of shatabdi 2013 . when asked to register complaint by the catering manager , they refused to bring the book .Date of journey is 14th dec. 09

IRCTC — Chain snaching At Hazrat Nizamudin

Train No.& Name6687/Navyug Express,Date Of Journey-15/12/2009,From Tirupati To New Delhi,PNR No.[protected].A1-Seat No.29,30.When train was reaching Hazrat Nizamudin on 16/12/2009 at 10:30pm approx.We are standing on gate to step out before two minutes of Hazrat Nizamudin station A chain snatcher has come and snatched chain and try to pull down out of train.gold chain is of 20 gms 22 carats and containing a 5 gm pendant of Tripuati Balaji & one Diamond pendant in that gold chain.T.T.E. was sleeping and Coach attendandant seeing all the matters.Vendors are frequently allowed in the coach.Guard deniy to accept the complain.He suggested me to go to G.R.P. IRCTC — Toilet is not clean and charging point

Train No.2708/A P Smark Kranti,PNR No.[protected],Date of Journey-11/12/2009,Class-2A Western Toilet is very dirty from H.Nizamuddin towards Tirupati.I have requested several times to T.T.E. & Coach Attendant to make arrangement to clean the western toilet as i went through Hernia surgery and Spine Fracture on 1/06/2009.I am unable to sit on indian toilet,they promise to make it clean at Jhansi Jn.But not clean till 5:00pm.I was feeling upset and unable to go to toilet.At Bhopal T.T.E.informed me that western toilet has cleaned but only Napthelene balls put two-three places.No paper roll,No jet spary & even no health faucet for patient passenger.Toilet cleaned at Sikandrabad.Coach Attendant try to break our privacy ask to return back linen several times before Tirupati at 12.20pm.Only one Lap-top and Mobile Charging point among six passenger.Now a days every passenger have at least one Lap-Top & one Mobile Phone.So Please make arrangement on every berth to recharge Lap-Top & Mobile phone,at-least in 2A.

IRCTC — refund to another account

Dear Sir,

i have booked e-ticket on Dec,the11,2009 form Itarsi to Agra which has PNR no-[protected], tansaction ID-[protected] and date of journey Dec 27,2009,the amount of Rs. 940 has been credited through my SBI a/c no.-[protected].I have cancelled this E-ticket on Dec 23,2009.

i have been transferred to some other place and my a/c no. has also changed which is now[protected]ICICI Bank).


Kindlly refund the amount of Rs.920 to my new account no.[protected]ICICI Bank.

IRCTC — RS 4075/- Charged on Credit card without booking ticket

The booking form Pune to Shegoan by Maharashtra Express 1039 for Tatkal quota for 4 tickets of @ Rs 4075 /- is charged without issuing tickets.

IRCTC — Rs. 675 charged in lieu of ticket, but ticket not delivered

I was booking a ticket from Chennai to Bangalore, I followed the necessary steps, made the payment through, ICICI Bank Internet Payment Gateway, the screen showed that the payment was made, then instead of producing the ticket, it showed that the session had expired! I checked my bank balance, it shows that that the transaction has been made and the payment made to IRCTC. I checked the IRCTC booked history, it showed payment not received from bank.

This has been a a problem with IRCTC ever since and no efforts have been made to rectify this fault, as a result a lot of people are suffering.

TDR Refund — Refund pending for more than a year

I had filed a TDR last year on 8th January 2009 through IRCTC for refund of fare (PNR # [protected]) as the train was running late for more than three hours.
Till date I have not received the refund in spite of multitude of email and phone reminders nor have I received an explanation as to why refund has been delayed.

Some has done Online ticket booking ( two transactions)using my Credit card on 24//11/2009 through IRCTC new delhi.I would like to know the details of journy & location of booking the ticket.
The same happened to me. Did you ever get your money back? Let me know how if you did. In the meantime, I'm going to try complaining to etickets at irctc.co.in.
