[Resolved] Irctc — Unable to book ticket online | |
I have tried to book an e-ticket under Tatkal quota from CSTMumbai to Hyderabad . I have submitted all my details including the SBI debit card number. The ticket fare has even got deducted from my State Bank of India Savings account. But it is showing an error of "Page Expired" and the ticket has not been booked. I request the IRCTC people to refund my money back. Was this information helpful? | |

I have tried to book an e-ticket under general quota from Kanpur to New Delhi through ITZ cah card. The ticket fare has even got deducted from my ITZ account. But it is showing an error of "Page Expired" and the ticket has not been booked. I request the IRCTC people to refund my money back.

This is kavitha. i tried to book ticket from chennai to hyderabad for charminar express on 30th, August, 2001, Time: 8:30 p.m.i gave my card number also. my money deducted from my account. but the 'page was not displayed' message was showing..
Please responsed.

The Month April, may, & June is the season for summer holidays. IRCTC website is on
large scale.There are Agents take 3000/- as a commission per ticket.So, the IRCTC website is the only way for booking the ticket for us.But The IRCTC website has the worst website I have ever seen. Web site's front page is ok no issue.But after log in when you start booking u can't perform any transaction. The web site's response is too slow.
While booking online ticket under TATKAL quota, IRCTC site is showing error "UNABLE TO PERFORM TRANSACTOIN. PLEASE TRY LATER". Then What's the use of TATKAL booking if such problems are faced during booking of the tickets.
I know that its proper setting of IRCTC website, for Public there is lots of problem while booking online tickets but for the agents there is no any problems because huge amount of money are going to railway's staf[censored]nder the table. Its a simple logic that agents can only book the ticket not public. Its totally corruption in railway.
