[Resolved]  Ittina — Not refunding the booking amount

Dear All, no offence to anyone but I must say that builder like Ittina are fraud and cheater almost all their current projects has some or other problem. I have also booked a flat in Ittina mahavir and I cannot say it was my mistake infact it was a blunder. Some of the people are very much favoring Ittina as if people are pointing to them directly like Mr Anup. Ittina management do some productive work to finish the project rather than putting false reviews.
These cheaters have taken each and every penny that was due and I am paying EMI on that since last more that 2.5 years and there is no clue of finishing of the project.
It looks like they dont have any intentions to handover the project. I think it is high time to unite overselves and take legal action against them.

Don't post this kind of sarcastic comments. Either you have not booked in ittina flat or u work for ittina. You know guys have been waiting for 3-4year. How many more years do you expect us to wait? I have been waiting from 2005. After investing all our saving into this stupid ittina project now we are regretting. Alteast we should alert the others who are planning to invest and screw up there life. Every project of ittina has issue - padma2, Akkala, abha, mahavir, arani...After all my bad experience with ittina my advice is to stay away from these guys.

Every Friday they are sending updates/alerts to all customers. But for my block always they are sending same status. Past 8 updates, I have received same status. There is no progress on my block / my flat. But the possession date is Dec-2008. Is this type o[censored]pdates/alerts required us?

As I said earlier, it is high time to get unite and take some legal action collectively.

I cannot belive how negetive some of you are. My ittina flat has appreciated in value even in todays climate. True they are not luxury builders but what else can u expect for the amount. FOr the price they have the best service. My cousin is a bank manager and they have the highest regard for Ittina. I see the negetive comments and think you must be do full of negetivity to even appreciate what the good Ittina has done for you. They were the first builder to build flats for under 10 lakhs!

I will build flats under 10 lakhs, but I will give possession date after 6 years, is that ok for you?
This is not the matter now. Regarding Ittina, they are not following any thing based on the documents. They will say some thing in the documents/agreements and they will do some thing else. They don't have proper ideas. Not only you & me, everybody are facing problems. Still I am telling, I don't know when they will give possesion, why because they them self don't know when they will finish this project...

Hi all,
I went last friday to get some new photos for updates on ittina mahavir. Apart from the little progress in amenities work which has been given to some third party contracter, there is zero progress in the apartments. Work seems to be stopped completely. Still the management doesn't refuse to claim they will give the handover by Dec 08.
I do believe in fighting, but at least we should be informed. Lets plan to meet the Ittina Management and the engineers and check what brings a delay in work when all the customers have done the payment. Lets make sure that the possession happens by this year 2008.

Hi Ronnie, I already told you there is no progress in Ittina Mahavir. But they are sending project status on every Friday and they told us 1000 workers are working & delivery date is Dec - 2008.
Don't fight with them & don't waste your/our/their time. No need to discuss anything with these . Let them finish the project with their timelines (God only knows when this project will get finish, according to me it will take atleast 6 to 8 months to finish this project.) They will conduct one more meeting in the month of December & the result of the meeting is "Possession date is March - 2009".
I can request only one thing with Ittina management, please handover the flats ASAP & share proper infomation with all customers on project status. If the delivery date is Dec-2008 or Dec-2009, it doesn't matter. And please don't conduct any meetings and give wrong information to the customers.

Never ever buy any flat from Ittina. They are a big fraud and quality is pathetic. Their sole moto is just to grab money by any means. So never ever even think of buying flat from Ittina.

Hi yesterday I visited the site. They stopped the construction in almost all blocks. Around 10 to 20 people are working in inside premise. I am not sure when they will complete this & handover to customers.

Yes they stopped construction. And I got confirmation from customer care saying that they cannot handover in the month of Decemeber - 2008. It will take another 4 to 6 months to complete. They stopped sending project status on Friday's.

I am one of the few unfortunate owners of Ittina Anai. Our experience has been in similar lines like others who hv expressed their grievances.. Ittina as a group is highly unethical and with no integrity. They are nothing but a day light corporate looters. They can go to any extend in cheating people. What do we say about their customer service - every call we make we are surprised to find a new cust service executive answering. We have experienced and come across very funny characters in the organisation - every time we visited the site we found a new joker standing to answer to our questions and give stories. In such one occassion we found one corporate looking gentleman who wanted to change the face of ittina and sounded such a promising guy that we all as usual fell prey to their pranks. On one occassion we all together went to St.Johns road office of Ittina and expressed our desire to meet the MD of Ittina. We were told that he has not come to office. We continued to be in the reception area and in some time observed that Ittina had hired some goons to handle us and trust me they were trying hard to give us a ferocious looks. And last but not the least - the main person, the brain behind this syndicate / operations, Mr.Mahabala. He comes with a unique & vast experience in the field of fooling and looting people money, sentiments, emotions & peace. The uniqueness about him is that he enjoys assembling people in a group and fooling them all together. His attitude is sky touching. His body language towards customers is as if he is doing a big favor on all o[censored]s. He cares a damn for his customers. He is not at all in control of his staff - we don't know but atleast he pretends that he is not aware of any damn thing happening in the projects. He once said that he is surprised to find Anai project not completed to the satisfaction and then followed it up with many promises. His Daughter Ms.Mona is another fraud in the making "Like Father - Like Daughter".. what an combination & a co-incidence. Looks like they are sick and enjoys doing such fraudulent activities. If anybody is expecting them to change then my friends its like a ### wishing to start all over again as a Virgin. The only solution is to put them thru' all that what all o[censored]s collectively are going thru'. Though not very willing to get to those levels, but strongly feel that these goons deserves a very dirty treatment. If collectively we stand then we should make a big public grievance demonstration, get media attention, go to Lok Ayukta and make a police complaint with the Commissioner of Police demanding a quick resolution. We should charge them with IPC 420. If all this still do not work then I'll resort to my own ways of dealing with such rouges, and the result will not be in the best health interest of the people concerned.

Please give police complaint & put case on them & arrest these bloody . They are playing games with people. Past 3 years, I am just hanging with them. They are not giving my money back. They spolied my life.

I got an email from the yahoo group that they are giving possession of E block on 20th of this month... Sounds very strange but still want to know if anyone is aware of it?

I have booked a flat with Ittina Mahavir.There is alot to crib about.But I want to know what my next course of action will be. I have been paying pre EMI for more than a year. I have no hopes that I would get the pre EMI's nor the interest money that they promised when I booked the flat. I now want to know if I have to convert my pre EMI to EMI.

My flat cost is 17 Lakhs. I paid 4 Lakhs as pre EMI to the bank. Still I am paying pre EMI only. Don't expect that they will refund our pre EMI.

Is any of the customers of any of their friends a very good advocate with experience in real estate: If yes please find the best way to make these guys in Ittina Management anwser to customer: about project completion, handover, and if the deadlines are not met how will the compensate for the same.
I want to join the fight but my experience is very less in these Matters
