[Resolved]  Ittina Properties — Never buy flats from Ittina

I booked a flat in Ittina Padma-II project, Ramamurthynagar, Bangalore, in Dec 2005. Completion date was supposed to be May 2006, but even today (June 2009) there is no hope of completion (work had stopped long back in 2006 itself). Details -

Everytime I called Ittina, no one really cared to respond well unless I visited their office - the update I kept getting everytime was that, there was some litigation going on with the landlord which is not their fault (so as not to pay any late penalty as per sale deed), and that's why the construction had stopped. The customer service personnel even had the audacity to say that "cancel your booking and go off if you want", though they pursued me to register the flat by April 2006.

At least 16 more customers had (and still have) the same issue with Ittina. On top of that, majority of the money had been paid with respect to registration by most o[censored]s, and are in huge debt (paying pre-EMIs and EMIs) with all our till-date life's earnings being eaten up by Ittina.

Few o[censored]s had approached consumer court, media, et al. Some o[censored]s even tried through involving political influences, but nothing worked.

So, beware of this builder in making any transaction with them or in buying any flat from them.
