am having similar issues with Jains. We made mistake of booking flat in Sept last year and promised delivery in Dec and then shifted to March. Even now many works are pending at project site and now they have demanded service tax with letter given back dated and then claimed delay charges from us including " delay charges on service tax". fleecing customer is their habit. would like to take up everyones issue with the consumer forum. please contact [protected]@yahoo.com
Ya i agree with above comments. But, i worked with Vijay Shanthi Buiders on two projects for us and both have been performed to very high standards. They also came in on time and within budget, which must be unique in the construction industry. Eriwal and Nitin are a pleasure to deal with, and I would now not go to anyone else for our building work.

Jains has never cared about customers recently and we now live in in jain nakshatra and we are yet to get a decent house with proper tiling and plumbing done.
The flats are pathetic with worst plumbing and tiling and there is no quality.
I would not advise anybody to go and buy jain housing flats.

my self also agree .in jains naksatra i booked flat on dec2010.
for getting loan from bank they are not in a position to give lien letter from kotak mahindra bank.it took 2 months and loan got delayed.
now after paying full amount, jains is asking delay charges.for their delay in providing documents, iam facing problem.
iam fed of with jains.customer care worst.they dont respond for customer queries.be careful while going with jains.

First advice from me is to keep away from jains. They took nearly 90% of flat cost now itself (with in 3 months of booking). Their response is so poor when I call or step-in to their office also.
They have called from extraworks dept after finishing the roofing. They left no provision to go for decoration lamp clamp or cradle clamp in the roof. I have start my dream house with a compromize.
They are not customer friendly, just milking money even for basic expections.

The only solution to all these problem is:
Always do not go for big builders...
Always buy flats from small builders...
Share all the pain you got from Jain to others, all your known circles...this is the only way to teach a lesson o them...

I did pre booking of jains anuvidha one year back. Still the project is not started. from last 50 days they are returning my pre booking amount. No one is responding propely. Please don't trust thease people.
