I have been offered a job as radiographer in jersey general hospital but i want to find out whether it is genuine or not since i have not attended any interview and still i got the offer letter. I have been offered a job as radiographer in jersey general hospital but i want to find out whether it is genuine or not since i have not attended any interview and still i got the offer letter. Even I have received a email bearing exactly the same contents as yours (except the name and position). When i did a online search, i realised that
1) this is a Nigerian scam (all numbers starting with +44 70xx are not fixed landline numbers, they are mostly redirected to some other number across the world, in this case, some cybercafe in Nigeria)
2) if this offer is genuine, many anaesthesiologists from Britain or France will queue in for the job, they dont have to fish us out from India
3) the website www.jerseygenhospital.com itself is a fake website, which hardly has any genuine photographs or credible information
4) of the phone numbers provided, 9 digits out of 10 match between the phone number of the solicitor's office and the phone number of the hospital representative, which is statistically highly improbable, unless they both are well connected.
5) why should the hospital direct the potential employee to a solicitors' office of their choice? why not leave it to the choice of the potential employee?
6) Why does a small island inhabited by not more than 90, 000 people, need a cardiac anaesthesiologist when they dont even do any interventional cardiological procedure, leave alone cardiac surgery?
7) Why dont they at least conduct a telephonic interview to select people?
