[Resolved]  jiyaji fabrics — lost of goods in railway transit

Dear Sir,

We would like to inform that 5 (five) nos parcel of cloth was despathced from SURAT to KHURDA vide R.R. No: 725579*5 dtd: 06/10/07.

Out of the said 5( five) nos parcel, 4(four) nos parcel has been delivered, 1(one) nos parcel is missing.
I got a copy of non delivery of consignment on dt: 12/11/07 vide consignment no: 404650.

According letter dt:06/12/07 Ref: Claim Number: [protected]
File Number: Y/MISC/MJENA/KUR/BBS/[protected]/12/2007-08 / 7136
I had submitted the documents required as follows on 27/02/08 and the receipt no was : 552
a)Original Invoice Copy of the Purchase.
b)Original Short Certificate.
c)Xerox copy of your letter Dt: 06/12/07 no: 7136

But, till yet we have not receipt any claim amount from your end.
You are requested to look into the matter and oblige

I would like to inform that I have received no response about the matter of claim. I had just received a letter by the office of General Manager/Claims, N.F. Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati-11 dated 23.12.2005 mentioning that the required document asked by you were received and that the enquiry will be settled on merit.
But no further response was received be me. I have also sent a registered letter no. B 2975 and B 2976 dated 21.02.2007, to the office of Railway Department, Rail Bhawan, New Delhi and to the office of General Manager/Claims, N.F. Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati-11 respectively as a reminder.

According letter dt:08.12.2005 Ref: DPG Np. TC-IV/6000/05/N.F.Rly
File Number: C/FP/P/V/23/TTSK/10310158/02/2003-04
I had submitted the documents required as follows on 17.11.2004
a)Original Invoice Copy of the Purchase dated 02.09.2003
b)Original Railway Receipt pf Parcel Way Bill dated 03.09.2003 Receipt No. 978092

But, till yet we have not receipt any claim amount from your end.
You are requested to look into the matter and oblige
