The Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and 428-429 IPC regarding.
Sir,
Kindly refer to the Jumbo Circus stationed at Rohtak regular performance with the blind Hippo, docked tails dogs, unregistered cats and Elephants are being abused with the ban iron ankush.
Please find enclosed here with the Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur Bench) orders banning on iron ankush on elephants, blind hippo can’t performed, docking of dog tails is also an offense and all performing animals should be registered with the Animal Welfare Board of India – AWBI and pre transport permit is also necessary before shifting of animals as per section 96-97 of the Cattle Transport Rules, 1978 amended in 2001.
Where as Jumbo circus have many docked tails dogs, unregistered cats, Elephants and blind hippo to perform, so all these animals may kindly be rescued and FIR against owners of the Jumbo circus stationed at Rohtak may be lodged for the violation of the section 3, 11, 38 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 read with the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and 428-429 IPC. The Jumbo Circus was founded by Shri. M.V.Shankaran. The inaugural show wad held at Dhanapur, Bihar on October 2nd 1977. This company is now presently managed by the dynamic and talented sons of M.V.Shankaran namely Ajay Shankar and Ashok Shankar. This company has pioneered and introduced many innovative acts in the IndiTo buy souveniran CircusIndustry.
Innovative and remarkable presentation has indeed been the USP for the consistency and popularity of the Jumbo Circus which is the largest and the No.1 Circus company in India. The Jumbo Circus has around 350 employees which includes 40 male artistes, 50 female artistes, 50 nos. Administrative and 200 nos. support staff. There are certain important factors that has made Jumbo the best Circus in India. It has been voted as the most popular and entertaining Circus of India in terms of the audience preference and quality rating all over India by an independent panel of the art lovers of our country.

The seven members Russian troupe led by Bahadir (Manager). Sherkhan is the star attraction of the present programme. The Horse Acrobat Act performed by Gulshanam, Sanjarkhan, Aleem and Ubaybullah is again one of the most popular items.

Other new acts include Russian Stick Balance, 3 Eye Spring Net, Vertical Swinging Acrobat, Russian Rope Balance, Asman ke Farishtey, Akash Yathra and Comic Chair Acrobat.

Amongst the Animal Acts: The dog foot ball match is a major attraction and innovation of the present programme. The boxer dogs from two teams and play foot ball with balloons. Two goal posts are also set with two dogs playing as goal keepers. The dog lovers and children in particular have enjoyed this items.

The Doctor Elephant item wherein Chanchal, an Elephant plays the role of a doctor and Lucky, an Elephant plays the role of a patient. The Elephant Cricket item has Chanchal, an Elephant playing some lofted shots for a six like Mhendra Singh Dhoni. The Siva Pooja item has an Elephant worshipping the Siva Lingam. Chanchal our Elephant has starred in the film Dashavatharam of Kamala Hassan. In the film sequence Chanchal the Elephant has an interesting sequence with Bollywood actress Mallika Sheravath.

The Macaw is a rare parrot found in the Brazilian forests. The Cockatoos is a rare bird found in Australia. The Macaw plays a seasaw balance with two Cockatoos on either side. One Cockatoos rides a cycle on a rod with another in tow, pecks with a beak and rides a chariot on the ring floor to the amazement and enjoyment of children.
