[Resolved] KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE — IT'S A FAKE PEN DRIVE. | |
I HAVE BOUGHT KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE FROM UNKNOWN PERSON, WHEN I BOUGHT IT, I JUST CHECKED ITS CAPACITY WHICH WAS SHOWING PERFECT, BUT AFTER A USE WHAT I KNEW... 1. The data in the pendrive got corrupted due to bad sectors. 2. On coping pictures I found out that only till 512MB of data was intact, the rest got corrupted. 3. Formatting the Pendrive was of no use. 4. I tried using windows Disk Check utility to see whether the bad sectors could be recovered but the program used to hang on initiating it. 5. On opening the pendrive I saw the PCB was in a pretty bad condition. 6. Only a 512MB RAM Chip was used in the PCB. I AM NOT ONLY THE PERSON FACING THIS PROBLEM, LOTS OF PEOPLES FACING THE SAME PROBLEM... NOW TO WHOM I CAN GIVE THE COMPLAIN FOR THIS CHEATING HAPPENED WITH ME... kingston is a cheater i bought a 32 gb pendrive which did not recognized in my computer

ya this same problem me too facing. above 512mb if any folder get created or already exist then data iis corrupt. but if no folder is created then it will work upto 2gb. a software file protector is also help prevent data from corruption almost fully with any folder in pen drive or not. it will work good.
i hav the same here...i bought the pen drive for 650/-
it has only 15 MB
the Metal cover of the pen drive is Kingston But the inner thin is a fake chinese [censored]in Drive..

I faced the same problem only last week. I bought it from Delhi for Rs. 570/-. But I hope, there could be some way out. Some driver download might help the problem. Can anyone respond.

ya same problem with me. i bought it from a truck driver, when i cheked it it shows d capacity of 32 gb but nt wrkng properly.after formatting it become useless

My friend kingston is a good company. It make great products. There are cheaters in market which uses the name of the good companies like kingston and sell fake products...

now i had contacted in New Delhi Bharat info tech, for this problem they told bring it here we will replace or repair the same pendrive, but it too far once in five year i go new delhi in LTC from our office.
Now am asking you that can get that pendrive in replace in Mumbai instead of going in New Delhi.
