Kingston Pen Drive 8GB bought since 7-June 2009. Unable to retrieve the file and reformat.

The Pendrive stopped functioning while it was atteched and a message "USB Device Not recognised" appeared in the Notification area.
It is a 4GB Kingston made and the local agency replaced with a 2GB. Kindly Resolve the issue as soon as possible.

i purchased pen drive 3 month before n it get damaged. i want to replace it. but retailer told me that you go your self to service centre n replace it. i don't have any idea regarding the where the service centre.
i have payment slip with me. i need solution as early as possible.

At home I open pen drive service.Many pen drive broken I can repair (bad sector, pen drive dead, firmware broken, can't format, MBR not active, Recover data etc), but I have problem and I can't find solution for repair pen drive. My problem is if pen drive can't partition, MBR corrupt, write protected. Many solution I try, many software I try, but still fail. Any one, can give me solution, please, and thanks.

I have idea for design pen drive.
1. Same as disk, pen drive must give panel for lock and unlock.
2. I think pen drive very easy to broken, because electricity. I think design
pen drive must save from electricity broken.
3. Protection MBR for pen drive is very risk. MBR pen drive very easy broken,
error, or corrupt.
