Sub: Camera Not Functioning Properly

On 27/07/2008, I bought a KODAK easy share Digital camera, Model: Z712 IS - 12x zoom. Serial No.KCXGT71301562. At FOTOBEST Private Ltd. 111/1 & 111/2, Dickenson Road, Bangalore-560 042. Phone.[protected], fax[protected] email.[protected]@vsnl.net
I paid Rs 12,999/- (Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Nine). Along with this i bought memory card, safe carry pouch. I also got some unknown brand battery and charger.

Unfortunately, your product has not performed well. Because from the day one I am facing this problem. When i use this camera it shows low battery immediately after taken three/four snap, after that it switch off on its own. Regarding this I contacted above mention dealer FOTOBEST Private Ltd. and explained the problem, but they were not ready to accept the fault. Repeatedly I have told the same to them that I am facing problem; they use to give one or the other excuse/reasons. Finally I was frustrated, I have to talk rude/rough to them. Then they finally replaced with new set of battery and charger. I had the same problem with new battery & charger. But it works with other battery like SONY etc.. All this confusion went on, when the camera was under warranty. But still the problem was not solved.

Regarding this problem, I contacted Kodak Costumer Care Center. I was told to buy Kodak Battery KLIC8000. On 26/12/2009 I bought Kodak Battery model: KLIC8000 & charger Model: K8500-C CAT No.8886467 from Authorised Service center. HCL Info system Ltd, Shilak Bhavan, 2nd floor, 204/B Millers Road, Vasanth Nagar Bangalore 560 052. I paid Rs. 1834 (One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty four). Even with this battery I am facing problem. This battery is worst then previous one, the camera doesn’t even get on at all, no indication in the camera. Same thing I have explained the problem to HCL Info system people. But i have not got proper solution for it. I am totally disappointed because that product does not work properly,

To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your if you can provide some solution for this problem. Or I will return it your office address mention above or wherever it has to be sent. Thinking that I have given charity of this money, whatever I have spent so far.

I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until 13.03.10 before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or Better Business Bureau. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at[protected]

KODAK DIGITAL CAMERA — india today book camreas and give no delivry

we have booked two kodak digital camras to india times along with free air ticket/and two night three days stay free in 3 star hotel , we recived the call on the phone we place the order against my credit card and ammount debit immediatly and recived the credit card statment ammount debit in same date.after many mails and phones to india times they are not bothering . when i got call from delhi office number is[protected] mr.immamudin was on the line after booking he gave me.two conformation number like[protected].the credit card statment was also send on customer care but they dont care.
please register my complaint and inform me the next step.

Kodak — Product not Functioning

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a kodak digital camera from Vijay Sales in Andheri (W).

I have hardly used the camera. Even when we insert new cells / batteries the charging icon shows half battery and when we click 4-6 photos the battery power shown is zero.

When we got this to the notice of the salesman at Vijay Sales he said this products requires so much power. When asked why were we not informed whlile purchasing the product he did not have any answer to the same.

How can any product consume so much power that even when new batteries are inserted it shows only half power and take only 4-6 photos. In this scenario we will have to use atleast 15-20 pairs of batteries per day .

They say nothing can be done for the same.

I feel I have been cheated by getting a below average product.

I request you to kindly help us getting a fair product which is not faulty and durable.

Kodak — improper functioning

i bought a kodak easy share digital camera in the month of june last year and its screen now shows disturbance and the image quality of the digi cam has also gone down.
i wud request the company to lodge my complaint and tell me where to get it repaired from.?
