[Resolved] Kotak Life Insurance — non payment of promised amount | |
I have taken a kotak life insurance policy in 2002 based on the agent's promiss. He promissed that the amount invested here will be multiplied and will yield high returns. as per the policy, on 5th year there is a 1st survival benefit amount suppose to come to me. based on value it is Rs.37500/- in the month of Feb 09. I have been following with them from last 8 months nothing has been credited to my account. then I decided to close the policy so that at the end atleast i may get full and final amount including 1st survival benefit. but my policy got closed i have not received the above said amount till date. Also I would like to know about my policy ; as the performance is not so lucrative, 1. if I want to surrender now, what will I get 2. what is the procedure to surrender the policy 3. How long it takes for processing and getting the amount. In addition to this I have not received my first survival benefit of Rs.37500/- (suppose to receive on 23rd Feb 09). when I will be getting and how.
