[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance — CANCELLATION OF POLICY

This is to bring in your kind information that the Kotak life insurance policy No : 01621615 was sold to me in the month of June 2009 by one of the marketing advisor.
The concern in the above mention policy was said is a yearly premium of Rs 10000/- but unfortunately when i received the policy copy on 27th October 2009 it was mentioned that the premium is to be paid on a half yearly basis.

So, I have submitted the cancellation form on 29th of October 2009, but still i have not received the Refund amount yet.

I have taken a policy from kotak life insurance in Dec 2007 and i have not received any policy documents from the company .according to company rules i was trying to cancel my policy in freelook period bt company did not want to pay me my money back. at the issunence time of policy i requested so many times to company employees about the policy documents bt they did reply and after 1 year i got docs n give back within 4 days in branch office.kindly help me.

maine pehle bhi ek baar complaint ki thi ki meri ek policy jo kotak life insurance se hui thi mujhe nahi mili, yeh policy maine dec 2007 mai karvai thi aur mujhe august 2008 tak policy nahi mili thi aur maine kayi baar branch mai complaint ki thi aur policy ko cancel karvane ki request bhi forward kar thi but koi action nahi liya gya, mere ab company ki taraf se phones aa rahe k aap policy maintain karo aur premium deposit karvao par mera pura right banta hai ke mai freelook period mai policy ko cancel karva sakun bt ab mujhe jabardasti policy ludhiana branch se fwd ki gayi hai jisko mai direct bombay address pe fwd kar rha hun bcz mujhe aapki company ki services pasand nahi hai aur mai yeah policy nahi rakhna chahta aur freelook ke ander meri policy cancel ki jaye aur meri amount mujhe return ki jaye.mujhe original policy ki jagah duplicate policy fwd ki gayi jabki maine pehle hi bol diya tha ki mujhe ab policy nahi chayie aur mujhe jabardasti courier fwd kiya gya mai yeah courier receive to kar liya kyun ki ludhiana branch ke employees koi action nahi le rahe isliye mai ise direct mumbai hi fwd kar dunga

I want to have the no of Kotak Life Insurance Agent in Hyderabad.

I have taken a kotak policy, and then have requested for the cancellation of the policy, as it was not meeting my requirment and the verbal commitment that was made to me by the agents.

But now i have received a mail on 12-Aug-10, dated 03-aug-10, stating inability to consider my request for cancellation of policy, stating that the free lookup period has lapsed.
Though the cancellation request was made very much within the free lookup period of 15 days.

I have initiated my mail correspondence on 08-jun-10 and then finally sent the documents back to the company for cancellation on 14-jun-10.

Kotak representatives have told me that they have recorded my discussion with them, i am sure, if they have recorded all the discussions they must be have the recording that will support my claim.

Request you to help me in getting my money back with delay penalty, and punish them for harrassing me.

This syed hayath pasha i have purchased kotak policy of 30000 thousand rupees per year after completion of
one year i didnt get any original document, from last week i got a massage of policy due date
so i want to cancel the policy but they are asking original document how i can solve this problem any one know the procedure to cancel & refund the amount.

My request to all please dont take kotak policy
