[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance — Forgery

I Dr. Sagar More has taken policy with kotak life insurance in december, it was adviced by Wai Urban Bank (I had taken loan of 32 lakhs for hospital ). Initially kotak agent (Mr. Amar Jagtap ph- [protected]) introduced by WUB gives me offer of 3lakh of premium (non refundable) for cover of 32 lakhs,I refused them they directly come down to settle at 1 lakh still I refused. I inquire at LIC office they told me premium of 46000/- with cover of 32 lakhs. I told to WUB regarding that ,they said will talk to kotak agent. Later I got call from same kotak agent that we will do it in 50000/-, I agreed as they have tieup with WUB & I am old customer of WUB.So Ipaid the agent by cheque in december . after that I get three times call from kotak bank regarding opening of account in there bank ,I refuses them . At last call I told them not to call again, just day after that the same kotak agent call me and said they have found high nicotinine level so will have to pay 6000/ more(Almost after one month of mypaymentof premium). As I am not smoker I ask him to produce the xerox of high nicotinine level for which agent saya its confidential bank cannot show you. Then same agent advice me to get it done nicotinine level from out side and said challenge the bank. I did nicotinine level from golwilkar lab for Rs.1200/and handed to the same agent to proceed forward.After two days same agent call me and said that you will have to pay the 6000/- .I ask him about the written report regarding my complaint , he replied that your nicotinine level is normal but you have given sign of occassional smoker so you will have to pay. now I ask him that why he told me to do nicotinine level he straight way refuses that he told me to do.I ask for copy of my signed paper he refuses. I told to cancel the policy he says only 10000 will be refunded.Now I got doubt on agent so from internet Ifound kotak insurance free toll no. and call them .When i talk to them they told me that local branch has stopped processing saying I am smoker. I ask them regarding my report of nicotinine level they told yet have not recieved. Mumbai kotak branch told me every processing done from local branch so contact there. While every time agent told me everything is controlled from mumbai branch. All the statement are contrdictary and irresponsible.

Sorry for updating late but Kotak insurance company has resolved my problem and issued me the policy on the previous termsi.e. premium (without extra charges)

Sub: Renewal of policy no.00980465 Renewal of the same


Sir,

Please note that this is regarding the renewal of my policy nbr 00980465 and my last premium of 50,000 Rs was due , I got a call from Kotar Life Insurance that u premium is due please advise availability so that we can send our person to collect the cheque accordingly… Mr Bharat Ahuja([protected] and [protected]) has visited to my house & collect the payment of 40,000rs and gave us the discount of 10,000 Rs ( looking at the good records w/Kotar), but when we have called after two months ( after checking w/bank that the money has already been transferred from my account to Kotar) and asked for acknowledgment we got the answer that it has already been dispatched to your name so please wait.

Again I have waited for 2 weeks & called the same person again and he has told that I have been resigned from the company and u are now requested to take this matter with higher authority accordingly and in the meanwhile we got a another call me Kotar office ( Rahul phone[protected]and informed that please pay premium of 50,000rs to avoid cancellation of th policy .. The person has visited to my place and collect the fresh cheque of 50,000Rs and give us the insurance that the money which has already been paid before will be returned to your account very soon…

When I have checked again on the same nbr from where the person has come to my house I got to know that he has also been resigned from the company… after this

I personally met with Regional manager officer Mr.Rama ( [protected]) at Bikaji Cama Place &
handed over the package of all the policies and simultaneously submitted
relevant records by the courier as per our telephonic conversation with
Mr.Abhishek @ Kotar[protected]Life insurance Company Bikaji Cama Place New
delhi.

Regarding above 2times the cheque were issued by & stopped , first time
the we have told that we have mentioned the policy nbr on the cheque &
second time we have told that u have mentioned the policy detail &
complete contact info at the back of the cheque issued. Third time when
the fresh cheque were issued we got to know that the new policy were
issued my my father name Mr.M.L Sharma against old policy nbr[protected]
this I got to know when I visited to my nearest office at Bikaji Cama
Place) but when I logged the complaint at toll free nbr that time I got to
know the it was dispatched to wrong address & received it back due to
incorrect address ).
After a 2 months again I have visited to your office in Connaught Placed
Amba deep building & meet wih Mr.Kishore[protected]/[protected] & explained them the complete
history in detailed & called him after 1 week & then 2 weeks but once
again they have not done anything regarding the same… Till date we are
struggling had to get our money back paid against the premium due ( cheque
no 787519 dtd 2/06/10 amounting 40,000 Rs).
Also note down the details of people who has taken /collected the payment
for above

a) Mr. Bharat Ahuja # [protected]
b) Mr. Karan #[protected]

Despite of my numerous request Nothing has come out of that .
But this is not the end of it, I have personally visited to Mumbai in the month of 28th Sep 2011 to Head office Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Kotak Towers, Building No. 21, Infinity Park, Off Western Express Highway, Goregaon Mulund Link Road, Malad East and met with Mr.Konal Rathod assistant Sonam Swapnil ph:[protected] and they have given us the insurance that with in 3 weeks u will get the money back but till date nothing has been done & we do know from where to get the money recover which has already been debited to my account & has already been transferred to Kotar under cheque nbr 787519 dtd 2/06/10 amounting 40,000 Rs
Kindly look into the matter and under intimation to me or wl take a liable
action this immed.

Why we got the money back as every time we are getting the answer that u will get a call, it is more than 2 years that i have been waiting for call... Enough is Enough.

Even though i have visited to Mumbai as well & met with Konal Rathodre 3 months back[protected] but no response where received till date ...I donot understand without singing any docs how come the new policy were raised in my Name, Please advise HOW ..

Till date there is no response, i do not know why it is taking much time( already taken 2 years) to release my money back ... It is a total fraud company all together.

Till date there is response, Kotar Life Insurance company should be shamed on this as they have made a fake policy without any intimation & we are struggling for our own money ... Not accepted.
