[Resolved]  Kumar Builders — Excessive Delays and Irresponsible Customer Service

Kumar Builders once had a reputation which prompted us to book a flat with them in 2006 . But to our dismay the construction progressed at a snails pace and the project has been delayed for about 2 years now . Completion dates are just on paper and delays are doled out with ridiculous excuses . The amenities which were promised look good only on the brochure and god knows when they will be completed . There have been reports that many other Kumar projects are also in the same state and residents are frustated about the delays . Ironically Kumar is starting new projects while its current projects are neglected ( excuses given that they have shortage of labour ). Further most residents are forced to pay 100 % and take possesion even while project is just semi finished . The maintenance funds are used without any transperancy . The customer service is non existent and no response to questions / clarifications is the order of the day with Kumar builders

I think there some sort of misunderstand, I have no clues as to which project you a referring to but I am a customer of Kumar builders too and I have a flat in Kumar Ilife Bangalore, The possession was granted a little late but I am very impressed with the amenities and the premises that they have come up with. Plus they never really asked me for 100% payment as I paid them in installments over a period of time.
Totally disagree to the complaint. The services provided to the customers from Kumar Builders are very carefully taken by the builders peoples and as far as concern with the maintenance fund, Kumar Builders have taken and is being taking care of this thing by keeping the benifits of the customer or their housing society only. I am one of the committee member of housing society of kumar builders and i aware that the builder has taken maximum care for maintenance fund by managing all the agencies which are supposed to being paid from the maintenance fund for their services. I felt bad that some one has quoted such complaint without verifying the facts, he needs to concern with his societies committee members then only he will get this clearance.It is not possible to communicate to all the customers for such issues and such committees are being formed for this reason only.
Can the Kumar rep on here please explain why the project Kumar Kruti in Pune has been delayed by over 2 years and whether they expect the project to complete this side of 2025? Its a bloody disgrace and for the amount of chasing we have done to get possession, its one that will set some record for the longest construction project. No one in Kumar office wants to talk to you and all you get from the guys at site is lip service. Disastrous experience, would never buy from Kumar again.
i agree and feel that kumar builders are irresponsible and not honest with their customers. i live in KUMAR SANSAR Pune and its a shame that it is still not completed after 2 years of completion date! the major issues are:
there is no PMC water and we are surviving on expensive tanker water!
land conveyance is still pending!
Builders have still not handed over to the society!
i don’t know what’s going on but i really feel cheated by them, just hope they change their irresponsible attitude and be honest to their customers otherwise there will gradually loose their customers.
