[Resolved]  Lakme Beauty Salon — Destruction of Hair

finally after d wash my hair texture from straight bcame rougn n curly.in my entire life i never had dry n rough hair.i've always had siky n straight hair only beloew my shoulders my hair wud turn a bit so i got my rebonding done twice.still my hair had n excellent texture d photographs of my last vacation abroad can tell u d truth.also d guy who cuts my hair can tell u d truth that how badly d lakme people damaged my hair forever .when i threw a bit of tantrum so d manager ms.ruhi covinced me that they wud give me spas n massages free till my hair texture comes to normal.in last six months i got only 5 spas free from them n d rest i paid .but 2dy i went to them for a free spa coz my hair still doesn't feel good so they showed me n attitude n no concern for my damaged hair.i will make sure that i will want d newz paper to publish my complaint n will go to d consumer court for this..

i think Lakme is just a name now...
there services are not up to the mark. Even small parlours asure of good hair after any treatment.
M saying this is because i hav suffered not only my hair loss but also so much of insult and embbarasment...
m complaining about the lakme franchiseeeee in jalandhar, model town. I took hair Rebonding service from them but they destroyed my hair. On the very 10th day there was wave in my hair and they said i was responsible for this such stupids becoz wat would i get it from it coz i myself had spent around 6000 rupees on it. Moreover the hair dresser insulted me in a way i cant xpress...i went to them on the very 11th day they told me 2 com after 2 months so that they can apply chemical to my hair again but my hair growed till then, i went to them but no one was ready to take any chance of applying chemical again coz my hair is very thin, i was again sent back to cum after 2 months again but that was such a wastage of tim and money...i told them that i will complain but till now there is no action has been taken...one more thing its only 7 mnths and nobody can say that i had taken rebonding in my hair becoz there is nthng left any kind of rebonding in my hair...wat should i do know wanted to complain so posted a comment can u suggesty me sumthng????

the service is very poor, they even dont know how to do eyebrows .i have done hair spa they have literally destroyed my hair.few are good like a girl named bani and others are dreadful .pavithra is wrost of them.never go to kathrigup lakme salon, prefer other branches of bangalore.

Hi, My name is Nancy and I totally agree with the complaints made in the above column. Lakme being such a big name claiming to provide quality service to the customers should really look into the training of their staff, their state is really disgusting. I went to the Jubilee hills branch opposite to Latitudes, I had already taken an appointment since I am a working lady but when I reached there after waiting for some time a staff member attended but she disappeared in some time without cutting my hair and I kept waiting like a fool. The lady who was supposed to cut my hair was attending a bridal makeup and nobody paid any heed to me irrespective of taking an appointment. I walked out telling the receptionist that their service is pathetic to which the receptionist was indifferent. Atleast I will not advice anyone to go to Lakme now. If Lakme is going to be the last option on earth il think twice. Really pathetic and shameful.

Hi..I also got my hair rebonded from a Lakme salon in mumba-sion east and i am really disappointed with the results.
First of all, my hair has started falling excessivley after the treatment and they are not even straight. They look lifeless now.
When i made a complaint about it, the manager told me that this is normal things and they are not "MAGICIANS" that they can straighten the hair...Damnn these people...they call themselves the hair experts and then after messing up the hair they just give all kinds of illogical excuses. I am going to make to file a case against them in consumer court.

I've been visiting Lakme parlours in bellandur, and HSR. the staff is extremely polite and friendly in both the parlours. Those of you complaining about failed rebonding treatment should understand that rebonding chemicals are very strong and may not suit your hair. Straight therapy is a very good option. I got straight therapy from Lakme twice, and I'm very happy with the results.

I think customers should have good knowledge about the services they request, and should not blindly complain.

I visited the lakme salon at Chennai, Besant nagar.People at the front desk are very unprofessional and irresponsible.They dont know how to treat their customers properly.They should respect their customers and need to be polite and gentle.

Miss Harinigoteti - It is hair expert's job to guide customers on the service which suits them. A customer may not know whats good for their hair. And even if customer have good knowledge, they cannot make out of the treatment is being done properly or not. In my case, the chemical was left my hair fo ra longer duration. Are customers supposed to tell HAIR EXPERTS when to wash it? ? It is haor experts job else they have no right to call them HAIR EXPERTS.

I agree with these complaints. The services offered by Lakme are not carried out properly. They have completely destoyed my hair after rebonding. I suffered a massive hair loss and my hair has become lifeless.

I repent going to LAKME even after reading the negative customer feedback.

I'm just visiting Hyderabad and each time the multitude of so called hair salons (who cannot cut or even blow dry hair properly) amazes me...yet...the price..that's even more than some salons outside India.

Who are they trying to fool?

What do they think..indians like to pay the most expensive for a service -thinking its the best? dream on!
(parlour as known in India!) and they said try a facial, so I asked what kind they brought out a list convenienienty opening ot on the most expensive page -page 3..you know what I chose the 2nd least expensive facial..they were telling me go for xyz Gold, lakme god knows, I chose the most simple one ..and you know what my skin glowed afterwards! All one needs is simple cleansing and relaxtion for a facial...not expensive creams lathered on (we can do that at home!)

Disgusted with Lakme Salon - Dollars colony Bangalore

I have always loved Lakme products and only visit Lakme salons and so far have had only good experiences but recently I visited the one at Dollars colony, Bangalore and it sucks. Its a new one opened and totally lets down the name of Lakme. The staff is inexperienced, hurt you a lot during any service provided and are pretty much high school dropouts who like to point out every flaw in you.Madame you are so dark, please trying our new xyz service, it will make you white. Well, take a hike, I like the way I look.Also they are like unsolicited sales men who keep trying to sell you more and more packages and just cant shut up !

The head of all of them, Rekha or something is another . Talks to everyone in such a patronising manner- no sense of customer service, just a bunch of swindlers. Keep you mouths sht and do what I ask you to.Haircuts are bad, facials cause you allergies, they are not hygenic, its a big let down

Definitely a big thumbs down from me, my friends and I will not be going back there for sure.

Hi, On last sunday, I had my waxing services done from the Lakme, bellandur, Bangalore branch. I must say, that the products used must have been really really SUBSTANDARD, because it left me wid about 20 boils on each of my legs. They were painful white pus filled boils and made my legs look disgusting! After this experience, I decided to call up that branch and tell them what had happened. Leave aside being apologetic, they were least concerned. I was told that I would get a call back from them in about ten minutes; they did not even bother doing that. I was sharing this experience with a friend of mine. She told me that even she had been burnt during waxing over there. Neither me nor any of my friends is ever going back there again. The staff is least concerned about their customers, and their services do not live upto the name of the brand.

c, never i have visited any Lakme saloon, nor any of my fellow beings have any experience about the same, even i did my hair rebonding, did touch up even after an year, for me it is going well, i did it with natural's and am pretty satisfied with the service and attitude, iam writing this as i disagree with one comment of yours ; we are not experts to understand about our hair, the saloon people should suggest us what type of hair we are having and if we are going for this particular treatment whether it wil be going gud for us or not, if they can't understand and recommend the same then y they should be called as experts..

i went to lakme salon in ranchi... n i was utterly shocked at their behaviour.. they said they would charge me 300 and when the bill came out they charget 1500!! n that 2 jst for a haircut (trimming) widout any shampoo and conditioning. n when i asked them about this, they simply evaded my question.. tok abt overcharging!! n i would also like to put forward a complaint about the managers.. these two ladies wrent doing a thing apart from gossiping and talking behind the customers' back.. what is this????? they have to at least behave properly if they r running a salon under such a huge brand name.. so kindly look into the matter, , n if possible.. try 2 change the ownership because these 2 ladies have totally repulsed and conned the consumers

i have done rebonding of rs 5730/- on 10th june 2012 and now its just 25th june 2012 and my hair are just looking like original ones
please take some strict action against these people situated at Navjeevan Society Grantroad branch
i need my money back as this is not a small amount for me
dont ever go to Lakhme Saloon again

on 7th nov. i wnt their fr rebndng.. if shocked whn i saw such a poor servc of them..they burn my hair from front..n they have many excuses ..most of them are unhappy from rebondng...i dnt know why lakme members are not takng action.. why r they busy in earning money? did they care abt happiness and satsfctn of custmer..future of lakme will b poor

i have a complaintregarding the skin treatment at lakme salon bareilly.it was a horrible experience for me.i had gone for a skin treatment 1 month before.i asked them for a anti taning treatment, idon't know know what rubish facial or cleansing they have done on my face, after that treatment my skin become worse.it become dull, loose and my face is full of pimples now.they have charged 3000 for that.i am going to complaont about it in consumer court.

Hi, I visited Lakme salon in Nagpur for Face Facial (instant glow) for my marriage. Lakme is just a name but inside the parlour don't know proper facial. They charge money high for facial but not take proper treatment. They didn't do ultrasonic m/c on face within a half hour she completed facial. I heard from other Lakme salon that ultrasonic is must if you charging 1, 400 rs for facial. In any facial ultrasonic m/c used.
At least every lakme owner have to check that client service going proper or not. Owner has to provide Feedback form for every customer before leaving Lakme Salon.
Feedback Form will help that customer going from Lakme Salon Happy or not. And after submit the feedback form owner has to check with proper action.

Hi...I belong to lucknow ..i gt my hair cut in Mahanagar Lakme saloon n I m a regular customer..day by day standards r gng down..nw thy treat customer badly..dnt pay attention wht the client z telling..n the worst part z thst they dnt have change..u pay money n thy tell u we dnt hv change n tell us to go out n beg for change from other shopz..ridiculous
