[Resolved]  Lenovo — New Year Offer Gift

Hello,

Reference to your confirmation for the Lenovo New Year offer as attached below. I had purchased my Y 510 laptop on 8th of Jan 2008 from Vishal Mega Mart Delhi and subsequently on 25th Jan 2008 I couriered all the required documents to your agent Channel Technologies-NOIDA. I am dejected to inform that I have no information regarding issue of free gift as promised in spite making a personal visit to NOIDA to enquire about the status. It was shocking to find out that your agent had no idea whether my draft was received and no status at all on either receipt of draft or worst issue of free gift.No body in the office could give any information on either receipt of draft or issue of free gift.

The whole advertisement of free gift from a reputed company like lenova seems to be a farce as you have handed over your responsibility to outside agency who is virtually sleeping to say the least.

Least I expect from you is the acknowledgment of this mail and at least information whether at all Lenovo has any intention fro arranging for the gift against massive advertisement over media.

Hello sir,
I purchased lenovo y510 44q on 22.08.08 from laptech solutions .pune.
i registered my laptop and my redemption no is - RED[protected].
I was promised 3 yrs warranty and 1 yrs accidental warranty by sending the following documents to channel technology, noida
1. bill invoice xerox
2. redemption no
3. cartoon cover showing model number
4.student id for availing student benefit
I sent the required document on 7.09.08.but till now i have recieved no confirmation of my warranty upgrade.even when i called the redemption cell at noida, they had no information about
it.sir i was immensely pained to see the irresponsible behavior of such a reputed company.
your agent seems to take no interest in customer grievance and lenovo promise of warrant upgrade seeems to be farce.
Least I expect from you is the acknowledgment of this mail and at least information whether at all Lenovo has any intention fro arranging for the gift against massive advertisement over media

purchased a lenevo desktop during August 2008.
on 25th October 2008 computer is repeatedly shutting off. complained on the same day. service engineer came and opined that RAM problem. after 3 days replaced the same and said mother board problem. after 4 days replaced the same and said that replaced motherboard is not proper. placed order for new motherboard. still not carried out the repair. nearly 15 days over. what the service is provided by the LENOVO company? my complant No. [protected].
my request is to change my PC.
in future i will suggest not to buy any LENOVO branded PCs

I had purchased lenova laptop on 16/09/2006 in Sri venkateswara systems Thanjavur (Authorized lenova agent) for Rs. 48000. Exactly one year one month back and after the expiry of wrranty (one year) the system is turned off immeditely when the power is off. In this regard, i had complained to the agent for the problem and till now they are not sending any person or seeing what is the problem is. i suggest that don't go for purchase of any leveno brand PCs. I have faced problems in my Desktop. service is very worst.
I am gopinath from Mangalore. I purchased Lenevo Desktop on 30.06.2008 from M/s Navkar Technologies, Mangalore (Ph. 4273707)After a month, sone problem was found and same was informed to help centre and the complaint No. was [protected]. However my repeated enquiries it took more than 25 days to solve the problem. afterwards within one week i found another problem and service centre fellow came and said that due to cold problem it happens and starts again. within a week the problem is repeating. some times it won't switch on or some times it will automatically switch off in the middle of our operation. each time i have to contact the service person or dealer. simply waste of time and money and also mental tension. however the warranty period is coming down. once the warranty period lapses no one will be there. THE LATEST COMPLAINT NO. IS L8CD00JM. Hence, I Hence, I request you that kindly recommend my case to CHANGE MY DESKTOP P.C immediately failing which i will file the case in the CONSUMER COURT.
