[Resolved]  Lenovo — New Year Offer Gift

Hello,

Reference to your confirmation for the Lenovo New Year offer as attached below. I had purchased my Y 510 laptop on 8th of Jan 2008 from Vishal Mega Mart Delhi and subsequently on 25th Jan 2008 I couriered all the required documents to your agent Channel Technologies-NOIDA. I am dejected to inform that I have no information regarding issue of free gift as promised in spite making a personal visit to NOIDA to enquire about the status. It was shocking to find out that your agent had no idea whether my draft was received and no status at all on either receipt of draft or worst issue of free gift.No body in the office could give any information on either receipt of draft or issue of free gift.

The whole advertisement of free gift from a reputed company like lenova seems to be a farce as you have handed over your responsibility to outside agency who is virtually sleeping to say the least.

Least I expect from you is the acknowledgment of this mail and at least information whether at all Lenovo has any intention fro arranging for the gift against massive advertisement over media.

I purchased Lenovo 3000Y 330 Laptop in the month of April 2009. I have sent a DD for Rs 3999 along with printout of redemption code, copy of Purchase invoice, Bar coded product serial number(original) and Photo ID to M/s:Offbit Marketing services kolkatta . I didnt recieve the gift till now.

Can you please check the below mail that I received from your agency. its now 2 and a half months and there is no trace or update of the balck berry device that I had to get. on 27/10/2008 i purchased this lenovo pc ideacentre k series MT-M 5312-2LQ of serial number MB25242.That time we were told by the shopkeeper that there is an offer from lenovo pvt. ltd. The offer was to choose any two options out of given seven options so we chose a CANON COLOUR PRINTER and an EXTENDED THREE YEARS WARRANTY. we were told to register it from internet to lenovo. we did that and were told that we will receive it in next 10-15 days ... after that we were asked to provide some documents regarding the information of our computer we provided that also but till date we are EMPTYHANDED. 1 to 2 months ago we got a call from lenovo... he was saying that our thee years extended warranty has been accpted but we haven't yet got any written note or any notice stating all that... i want you all to take quick action on this matter and provide me with both needables OTHERWISE i will go to consumer court and will have a CHEATING COMPLAINT against you all.

I do agree that these complaints are genuine because I too have been kept in such situation for the last six months or so, but I still believe LENOVO is a good company. I have a laptop Lenovo 300 N[protected], 512 MB RAM and 80 GB hard disc.
Now I want to increase the capacity of both side. I want to know maximum how much memory (maximum Ram capacity) I can put there .

About hard disc, 80 GB I like to keep as is inside my laptop, I prefer to use external USB hard disc with this. For that what the maximum capacity (how much GB) of external USB hard disc can I add with my laptop.

yeeah i agree with what he/shee is sayin i am getting thee samee problem, why is with all lenovo laptops that they restart i only using it for atleast 4-6 hrs andd try use it rarly but i think uu shudd do somethink about it or even takee all thee laptops bak
