[Resolved]  LG Electronics — Customer Service & Service Center

had purchased a flatscreen television on the 28th of October, 2007.

I have recently noticed that there is some discoloration happening. I have lodged a complaint (Complaint ID - S8C[protected] with the customer care center on the 21st of March, 2008. This complaint was to be attended to on the 22nd of March, 2008.

Since then, almost everyday I have been in contact with the customer care executives. Everyday it is the same story that I get to hear from them. All they say is that the service center representative will be sent over to my place the next day. I am almost nearing the completion of making a directory of the cellphone numbers of all the service center representatives with all the numbers given to me by the customer care. But as my luck would have it, not a single call, of all the many repeated calls that I have made to those numbers, has been answered. I am sure it is easier to talk to God, himself. Another common dialogue that I get from the customer case is that the service center had made a call to my cellphone and that I did not answer it. Moreover, every customer care representative that I speak to, asks me to call back and ask for them if the complaint is not attended to the next day. But strangely, when I call the next day asking for them, I am politely informed that there was never anybody with that name at the customer care center.

I am still waiting for the complaint to be attended to.

LG MOBILE (MODEL-KP 199) — POOR QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT

I have purchased a LG mobile (Model - KP199) of your company from Lucknow (UP-INDIA) on July 2009.
But within 2 months only my mobile have faced number of problems like software hanging, display problem, sound problem etc.. because of that i have to get repaired my mobile 2 times within 2 months. This took my time and money.

Now i am very dissatisfied distressed with your product and i assure you that i will not buy any product of your company in future also i will tell my friends and relatives also not to buy any product of your company otherwise they will also have to suffer a lot like me.

A satisfactory reply from your side is needed.

With great constraint I have to say that I have lodged a complaint (Complaint ID – N9C[protected] with the customer care center to look into my Split AC which was not operating, on the 18th of August, 2009.
This complaint was attended by one of the engineer Mr Dev Kumar having Cell No- [protected] on the very next day. After examining the AC he informed, that the PCV of the AC is not functional and needs to be either repaired or replaced and accordingly he took the PCV along for check up at the service center and said he will come back on Monday (August 24, 2009), but he never turned up again and since then, almost everyday I have been in contact with the customer care executives and area service center at Janak Puri ( New Delhi) at Phone No. 91-[protected] and everyday it is the same story that I get to hear from them. All they say is that the service center representative will be sent over to my place the next day but that day has never arrived

To my great surprise when I contacted the service center on August 28th 2009 on not attending the complaint I found that my complaint has been cancelled without taking any action and my approval or intimation to me, despite the fact that PCV which was removed by Mr.Dev is still in custody of LG

After my repeated persuasion a new complaint was lodged with Complaint ID- N9C82810930 on 28th August, 2009.

Till date my complaint has not been attended to.

In view of inconvenience and hardship caused to the customers all I could say is that after sale service of LG is very poor and it seems to be height of inefficiency on part of such a reputed company.

Looking forward to an early conformation and action.

first of all i need proper customer are number because i have done a lot of complaint against my lg's

I made complaint about the non-functioning of my Washing Machine two days before(6/10/2009 1000hrs) and my complaint id is S9CA0601737. Complaint was made by my wife S.Vijaya. Till date no service engineer turned up. Yesterday my wife called one Mr. Varun, he told me SE will attend the job immediately. But no response from your side. Clothes are accumulating day by day. My wife finds tough time to clean clothes without washing machine. We are very much disappointed about service.

LG Electronics — LG -- Broken down customer service

I have purchased a LG LCD TV on 12 Oct 2009. During installation on 13 Oct 2009, the service engineer noted that the set was defective and needs to be replaced.

After several reminders to LG Service personnel - there is no response from the service official.

I demand an immediate replacement of the defective set and immediate apology for the harrassment meted out to a customer by the corrupt LG service officials.

LG Electronics — Harassment by LG

I recently (about a month ago) bought a LG Direct Drive machine – 8kg/4kg – Washer Dryer from Reliance Digital – the first time that we used it, I realized that the machine was faulty – in the dryer mode the timer would get stuck at 6min – this was a problem since it meant that the machine would need constant vigilance – defeating the point of an automatic!

We called up the store & were directed to a gentleman from LG (apparently) called Rajsekhar Reddy who came over & said that the PCB needed to be changed but that LG did not have any in stock. I insisted on a replacement since I refuse to spend such a large amount of money (Rs 43,000) on a machine only to get a defective piece that has to be opened up for repairs when new. He promised a replacement & vanished.

After that he stopped taking our calls. Since then we have been talking to the local LG Service people who have just been playing the fool with us, saying that the machine is not in stock, although we can see it in every store! They asked me to buy any other machine – why the hell would I do that?! The defective machine is still lying in the house - with no response from Customer Service

Its really astonishing to see that on one hand LG is advertising this model so much and on the other hand harassing customers who buy it. Please either replace the machine asap or give me my money back. This has been a really bad experience.
I am the husband of the complainant. I have been doing the follow-ups with the stores, the logistics and the service department, not to mention Reliance Digital, Banjara Hills... I have one word for all those who I have interacted so far regarding this case...VERY VERY POOR csutomer service. No empathy at all. The only response I have been getting is "Machine out of stock, please buy some other model". Yes, I am willing to, but certainly not an LG product. Refund us our money and let us decide what machine we want to buy and from where.
With such after sales service LG consumer better start counting its last days in the market!!!
