I have purchased a washing machine( LG, Tromme, Front loaded ) in 2006 December with 2 years warranty ( ie., up to December '09 ). My washing machine was spoiled by Rat bite in October '09 and was informed to LG Customer care. First time the service executive came and told me that was the 3000/- rupees cost. Once again I informed the Customer Care and requested for warranty. Again some other executive came and told me same Rs.3000/-. Then I spoke to their local service engineer to request for waived off Rs. 3000/- but he told me that he would call later. but there was no response for 1 month. Again I approached Customer Care and their executive came and told me this time Rs. 5000/-. for repair. Once again I spoke to their local service engineer. He told me that was the second hand spare part from another customer so it was 3000/-. Now we have to fix new one so it is Rs. 5000/-. When I asked him for this he told me if you interested for this we would do there wise as your wish, I could not do anything and kept his mobile and not even responded after called him. I think that I have rights to talk and ask him about my problem as a customer, where they were saying different stories about the repair and how far it was correct that they wanted to replace with second hand spare part.
