[Resolved]  Lion Dates Pvt Limited — Complaint letter,Regarding Lion Dates Products--Worms coming out from the Pack.

Hai,
This is Madhu.I frequently used to buy Lion Dates Products.I compulsary take the Lion dates in my daily life.
Last week, I bought Lion dates products, especially "Lion Deseeded Dates"(Mfd date:july-2009).While i was opened the pack bunch of worms coming out from it.Really i was stunned.I couldn't expected that.I believe that, The lion dates products are Fresh, Good and Genuine.But, why it was occured.

Now i am scaring a lot to buy those Products.Please take necessary actions on it.

Even I faced the same problem. There were worms in Lion Seedless dates !!!

I'd baught it on end of June 2009. I rechecked and made sure that the package was not damaged.

I second your complaint. Today I bought a seedless pack, Packed on Jul 2009. As mentioned on the cover, it was seedless dates but full of worms. This is for the third time, I have bought a worm box. So, this time I am not going to leave it. Certainly I am proceeding for consumer legal action. I am sure the dates are not new, though the packing date says July. They are just changing the labels on the cover, not the dates packed inside.

Same case with me too. I purchased Lion dates (Seedless) on 24th Aug 2009. I saw atleast 10 worms coming out it. This is also July 2009 packed. Looks like some thing miserable wrong with Quality control at Lion dates. We should try to bring this issue to Food Control Authorities.

I also had the same experience. I purchased 500 g of Lion Dates on October 20, 2009, (Batch K207, Packed on October 2009). It was tightly packed, but when I opened the seal, there was full of live ants inside. I am fearing to buy Lion Dates now.

Same thing happened to my friend also. We five together bought 5 boxes of deseeded lion dates which were packed on October 09 from Pune. One of the packet was containing worms. All others are now hesistating to have it. Why such a reputed company is not considering the quality of their products?

Me too experienced the same thing.I purchased Lion dates on 18 th November 2009.Whwn I open the pack i could see bunch of worms inside it!!!
