If you receive an email from someone you don't know, or an email offering something, there is never a question of whether it is real because it never is. This is not open to opinion, being fact. If you ever receive an email that even contains the word 'Nigeria' you will know without a doubt you are talking to a criminal.

The above emails are being sent by a sophisticated ring of scammers specialising in lottery, loans, and the fake consignment box 'wash wash' scam. They are successful and currently still in operation. The boss or 'chairman' operates out of Malaysia and the scamming ring stretches as far as Nigeria (where is no doubt began). Indians are the main target in this operation, however they will scam anyone who responds.

The above are only a few of the dozens of mail accounts used for lottery scams. People would do well to remember you can't win the lottery from another country, pepsi and coke don't do lottery, you don't win the lottery via email, and most importantly, if you didn't buy a ticket you can't win !
