[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — Duplicate Product...

Dear Sir,

I got Louis watch through my citi bank credit card offer from AVA Merchandising Company of New Delhi on April 7, 2008. They have charged 490 Rs against this. But when i opened it, there is not any single document enclosed with it, there is no description of this watch like its gurantee period, its service centers also there is not any serial no on the watch. And now I come to know that the battery is also duplicate one.
Please give me suggestion, what i have do right now.

Thanks & Regards.

I travelled jetlite (S2-402) Bangalore to Kolkata sector on 1Aug 08. Through scratch card I won a Louis Quartz. My experience is same as those mentiond above & I am upset about Jet/Jetlite for promoting such offers.
Hi,

I too travelled from Hyderabad to Pune on 1st September and I too recieved the Loius Quartz watch. I just logged on to the net now and was searching for the brand info when I bumped into this forum. AFter reading all the comments from you guys, I feel Jetlite must be punished.
The pity is even a foreigner who was travelling with me bought the watch. What will she comment when she realises what has happened to her in India.
Jetlite I pity you for your hopeless service and a very hopeless and crooked tactic of making money.

Hello everyone,
I have been offered a scratch card just yesterday, as a part of some sort of "privilege offer" for SBI credit card holders. The scratch card I received has also revealed a "Louis" quartz, which according to the information provided on the scratch card is priced at Rs. 3990/-, and I have to pay a sum if Rs. 590/- as handling charges.
However I was not very confident about this and fortunately tried a hand at an online search engine, which revealed the above webpage. It is but obvious that I am not claiming my precious gift anymore now.
It is such a shame that reputed names misuse their goodwill with customers and allow such shady transactions to go on and on. What they do not however realise is that perhaps a sum of Rs. 490/- or so would not make the customer too poor, but they lose their credibility with their preciuos customers.
The sooner they realise this the better. We have not much at stake compared to these miserable souls!

Soma Biswas,
Kolkata.

Dear friends,

I have got an offer from SBI cards under the scheme named Big Time Celebration; the scratch card offer was given by the SBI cards with my SBI card statement for the month of August, 2008. As the offer was given by the SBI cards, considering the best practices of the SBI group, I open heartedly accepted the offer.

When I scratched the SBI card (Big Time Celebration), I found Louis Quartz watch 1053 written on it. The price of the product 'Louis Quartz watch 1053' was mentioned Rs 3990/- along with the pictures of the products on SBI scratch card.

As the price of the product mentioned by SBI was Rs 3990 & I had to pay Rs 590/- against the delivery of the product, considering the offer given by the SBI very genuine & authentic, I confirmed acceptance of the offer.

When the product delivered to me, I surprised to see that the watch delivered to me was the damaged one & it seems that the cost of the watch is definitely less then Rs 100/-. There is not any serial number on the watch & no documents or bill delivered to me with the delivery.

Payments of Rs 590/- were debited from by SBI card account against the watch delivered.

I would like to raise the issue in large public interest, there are hundreds of complaints available online filed by costumers from all parts of the country.
I have a received a similar offer from SBI as well. I have been asked to pay Rs. 590 for the Louis Quartz. Not sure if the product will be original. I have doubts. The worth of this watch is mentioned as Rs. 3990. Reading all the posts even I am feeling skeptical about purchasing it. Will this be a fake offer. I am planning to buy it

I have also received a scratch card on which I have won a Louis Quartz watch.I got a bit suspicious so I looked it up on the internet & found this site with a whole lot of complaints about the same product.
I am thankful to this site for making this information available.
I also wonder that this scam has been going on for more than six months & the product is still on sale thro various avenues like credit cards etc.
Thanks a Lot guyz,

Even I have got a scratch a win contest from SBI Cards and was just looking through whether the watch they provide is geniune or not and after seeing your comments I totally believe that even this might be the same one as yours.
Thanks a lot for your comments and I will also make sure that it does not happen to my friends atleast.
Lets create awareness against these conspirators.
Ricky
