[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — Duplicate Product...

Dear Sir,

I got Louis watch through my citi bank credit card offer from AVA Merchandising Company of New Delhi on April 7, 2008. They have charged 490 Rs against this. But when i opened it, there is not any single document enclosed with it, there is no description of this watch like its gurantee period, its service centers also there is not any serial no on the watch. And now I come to know that the battery is also duplicate one.
Please give me suggestion, what i have do right now.

State Bank of India has also joined hand to these .
I hv SBI credit card and also got this offer for louis quartz watch. I had to pay Rs590/- for this as handling charges.

Thanks to you guys, i hvnt paid this amount.

recently i received gift coupon of Sodexo, Booklet contains one sctracth coupon, all the coupons contains same prize of louis watch.
i was just going to place the order but thanx to u all. i red all the comments given by you.

AVA merchandising — Hopeless Company

Hoepless company ... I am running behind them for last six months. Is there anyone who can help me in getting my money refund. Despite of many promise of refunding money in a week, months have gone but nothing happned... chor log
even i got the same offer from icici credit card. first i deside i will check the watch is genuine ro not . when i found there is not any genunine company of "Louis Quartz" they all product is duplicate and its watch real value in market is Rs-80/-, so request all of them not purches all this type product from any company.

Myself Dr. Sarang P. Lohiya was offered a scratch card on 13th June on my flight from Aurangabad to Delhi with my father, as a part of some sort of "privilege offer" for Jetlite passengers. The scratch card I received revealed a original "Louis" quartz, which according to the information provided on the scratch card is priced at Rs. 3990/-, and I have to pay a sum if Rs. 600/- as handling charges. To start with I was very happy to have won it. Later I found that there was no serial number on it. Also the guarentte card was without any information about date of manufacture, serial no. etc.
However I was not very confident about this and checked it on the net which revealed the above Indian consumer complaints page and found so many other complaints and it was confirmed that the watch was duplicate. I mailed to Jet airways about this cheating being made, but there was no reply back which confirmed that this was delibrate and planned cheating being done by the Jet airways staff.
It is such a shame that reputed names like Jet airways misuse their goodwill and do such false transections and cheat the costumers. It is a very serious matter as big as piracy recently. A strict action has to be taken by the govvernment to stop this.
I am an HSBC Gold card holder and receive the product catelogue with special offer for HSBC holders through AVA Merchandising.On 10th June I ordered the 7inch digital photo frame and told them specifically that I need to gift it for a wedding purpose and my parents are leaving for USA on 8th of Aug from Mumbai so need the product asap.On 13th July my order was booked and I was promised that product will be delivered within 10days anyhow to my given address of Mumbai and I received the sms from AVA with the order number.The order number is HS1138.
Just to reconfirm I called up AVA on 20th July again to reconfirm and informed them about my urgency for the product.They gave me a complaint number which I got on sms.The complain no is c/20/07/09/250.After waiting for 10days I started following up with them.My father simultaneously called them every alternate days as the amount is already debited from my account of Rs 4000/-.
For last 15 days whenever I call them they say that there system is down and they cannot check the status and ask us to call back next day.Till today morning the same answer was given by their illeterate customer care executives.As I was in Delhi last week and AVA is based in Gurgaon, I called them from Delhi to check the status and the executive told me that its already dispatched and somebody will call back on Monday to confirm.Monday, I waited for the whole day but got no call from them.Today being Tuesday, first my father called them and again the answer was that their system is down and they cannot check the status.I was really frustrated with the entire episode as after 2 days I need the product as my parents are flying.I called them in afternoon and spoke to Ms.Neetu the executive.She told me that product is dispatched but cannot check the status as system is down.I told her that being an ISO company how could the company's systems are down for the last 15 days?
I asked her to transfer the line to a senior person but she said she cannot do that and even did not give me the CEO's name.I was frustrated and told her that I am putting a complaint today evening if I do not get a call back from AVA about my product update.She promised me that somebody will call back.I waited till 6pm and to my utter shock some new story was waiting my way.I spoke to Mr.Amit and when i asked him about the status, what did he answer??? Sorry ma'am but we do not have this product available with us in the stock so you order some other product and we will dispatch it in 15 days...I was so irritated that I asked him to give me CEO's name or id to complain.But again he too refused to help me and told me that if I want to take a refund somebody from AVA will call back and will refund the money in 20 days time.As soon as he said this he banged the phone down.
I called back and this time another new guy called Sumit was there.Here comes a new story with new executive- I asked him to transfer the line either to neetu whom i spoke to in morning or Amit whom i was already speaking to half an hour back but he did not transfer the line.So I repeated the entire story.He put the line on hold and told me that my product is dispatched and will take a week's time to get it delivered.This time I lost all my patience as AVA do not have educated executives at first place and secondly they are not even aware of the correct status.I asked him that what is the alternative as I need the product within 2 days.He told me to take a hand delivery from Delhi.I think he was not sure that i will agree on this condition also.As its my requirement and my cousins are based in Delhi so i told them to give the address so that somebody can collect it today or tomorrow.Sumit was not even aware about the process and told me that its not possible today and tomorrow being Rakhshabandhan.I told him my urgency but he said the warehouse is at some other place and office at gurgaon.

I asked him almost 10 times to give me the office address so that somebody from my family can come to office personally and talk to senior and get the product.But he did not give the address and said that you call up on thursaday morning at 9.30 am and tell the executive that you need a hand delivery so they will entertain you. Now comes a twist again...When I said that should i call you on thursday morning so that you can directly help me.He laughed and said-MA'AM WE WILL HAVE TO CHECK THE PRODUCT WHETHER ITS AVAILABLE ALSO OR NOT ON THURSDAY" NOW MY QUESTION IS WHY THESE EXECUTIVES ARE SITTING THERE IF THEY CANNOT HELP ANY CUSTOMER.NO UPDATE ON STATUS, NO UPDATE ON PRODUCT AND NO COURTESY.

My request to all if somebody can help me in filling a case against the fraud company like AVA.tHEY SIMPLY TAKE MONEY THROUGH CREDIT CARD and do not provide the product.Also i would like to appeal to all leading banks like hsbc, icici not to deal with such fraud merchandisers as it creates problem for card holders as we trust these banks.

My money is already gone and if I do not receive the product in 2 days its of no use.Kindly help..
I also got the watch through scratch and win method. But i found an international warranty card and the manual inside. I also got a bill for that but no serial number with it.
I Have to disagree with ALL OF YOU. I got an international guarantee card for the watch, it is a genuine one. I yr warranty countersigned by AVA xecutives . PLZ dont spread rumours abt a good deal.
