[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — duplicate product

Dear sir/madam,

I got Louis watch through my citi bank credit card offer from AVA Merchandising Company of New Delhi on April 2008. I am also having international guarantee card of 1 year for this wrist watch. That card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale and service center.and also it does not have any email id or website or any contact number. And now I come to know that the battery is also duplicate one.
Please give me suggestion, what i have do right now.

I agree to the complaint. I also recieved the offer from Citibank Diners Club and AVA and was thinking to order this watch. Thanks to the people around for posting complaints that i am saved. This is high time they should start reliazing that consumers cannot be fooled. Sameer, please ask for a full refund.

Sanjay, did u talk to the citibank customer center? May be they can look into the issue. This merchandising company is indeed fooling the customers.

I would like to inform you that you are not the only one who has been fooled.I also ordered for "LOUIS " watch(Free Gift) but all I received was a small box with AVA tapes all over it.There was not even a single document leave alone guarentee or warranty papers and it is second one and broken.

and NO SERIAL NUMBER.
I THINK it's NOT EVEN FROM LOUIS
MAYBE it's PIRATED.
please ask for a full refund and inform CITIBANK.

Sanjay, Even i had a plan to order louis watch thru' citi bank credit card. Now am alert abt it. Dont let U down in this, ask them for Full refund also have a word with customer care. let us see what they are going to answer. if it is going to be a true 1, then all theproduct issued by citi bank credit card will be a duplicate one. So the citi bank card holders should be alert abt it, other wise they have to inform to the citi bank and we have to see what the action they are going take in it.

Forget about the refund. For making go through these you should be suing them in a consumer court along with Citibank for being accomplice.

(BTW, I got the same offer from Standard Chartered)

In my case the Bank is offering it for 'free' with Rs.490 towards taxes/shipping charges... you think its worth this money?

After going through all these complaints, even I have started smelling a fraud in it, otherwise why was it not available in the Delhi Airport counter of Jetlite. I was about to order to AVA helpline numbers, but, I think I wouldn't do that anymore.

Moreover, because of these experiences shared here, I feel the Jetlite should also be held responsible for allowing these kind of merchandising advertise over their flights.

Louis Quartz — duplicate

I am feeling cheated once I read the messages. I was in false impression that I have won some thing great during my fly in jetlight Mumbai to kolkata on 15 April, 2008 that is louis quartz. I visited Mumbai airport to collect the watch but it was out of stock on 29th april 2008, I am asked it can get the same at Goa airport since I was going there next day. Again I found same reply it is out of stock. On 16th May got it from Mumbai airport without any document by paying Rs. 490. Thanks to all of you to precaution. I was out to order some more products from avamerchandising.

I got Louis Quartz watch from JetLite ‘Scratch & Win fabulous gifts’ offer through AVA Marchandising Pvt. Ltd.; Gurgaon, Haryana.
I paid Rs 490/- through Call Center of AVA March. (P) Ltd., and received the watch today (Sunday, August 03, 2008). They also provided an international Guarantee card.
Neither the card nor the watch have any watch serial number. I feel cheated, as the watch costing Rs. 3, 990/- (as displayed) is an ordinary watch without even any Day/Date function.
Is there any way to get back this amount in lieu of this fake watch?

Really this is very bad, names like jet /jet lite is cheating people in this way

My wife proudly presented me this Louis Quartz watch she received from Jetlite as the prize. The label on the container says the rate of Rs.3990/-
The watch was presented by Citicard for Rs.490/-
The Jetlite should be sued for presenting a fake products and are partner with the cheats.
The matter should be taken up by the Weights and Measures Department for wrong labelling as there is no name of the manufacturers nor there is any customer care contact nos. nor Jetlite has given any of thier marking being a prize from them.
All are guilty.

thanks to all o[censored] for the right information about Louis quartz, i was pllaning to purchase this as won through jetlite. but before that luckily i gone through the details and i am glad to know that it was a narrow scap from cheated, thax again to all, and i also suggest everybody to inquire before purchasing any false offer.

I have been fooled when AVA merchandising has sold me the product for Rs.500/- as redemption charges while flying through Jet Lite.

This is purely a breach of trust, i want you to please take the action against Jet lite and AVA merchandising.
