[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — duplicate product

Thanks to all. I also got one voucher from SBI Credit Card, where they offered me Louis Quartz Watch. They are not giving me free from any charges. I have to pay Rs.590/- if I ready to accept their offer. Before that I verified at internet and saw lot of complain about that. I think so that it is like a simple cheating. So, we could take necessary action against those kind of immoral activities. ITs a coplete cheating i found no one will belive on it and let a Company like SBI should not be a art of such activities atleast they will loose faith of their customers

I scratched... the prize was Louis Quartz Watch ..If i take this they will debit my card Rs.590/-... before ordering i just checked website and i found that it was duplicate and cheating one.. Thanks for saving money of Rs.590/-...

Recvd. from SBI scratch n Win, I am saved by reading this, but how do we stop AVA fooling more people? Think of millions of Credit Card holders in the country who do not have time or access to this forum & must have paid Rs.590. As per the terms of SBI, they do not have anything to do with AVA. If any one has any complain towards AVA, they have to deal with AVA directly. SBI has appointed arbitrator in New Delhi but I don't how many people may have time to fight against Rs.590/- Again it's not question of this small amount, it's about fooling people using SBI name. Hope these credit card company can stop such type of people to promote duplicate products under the name of reputed banks.

I got Louis Quartz watch of mine from SBI credit cards.The merchandizing company is the same, i.e., AVA. Has anyone sued AVA and the credit card company they are associated with it. If not could someone let me know whats the procedure to file a complaint in consumer court. Its time now to go one step ahead and sue them big time rather than sitting back at ease and crowding up the virtual space with blogs.

Even I have suffered with the fake watch from Jet Lite. This is very shameful that Airways now started fooling their passengers.
This is not at all acceptable. These Organizations should be punished.

Thanks to everybody, i got this offer from SBI cards. i was just trying to get the review about this product. but it was eyeopener to me. SBI will not take any responisbility then why they offer such types of sceme . they should be more responsible. Can't we sue this AVA merchandise . i wish they should be heavily penalised.

besides I wonder how can SBI card can wash their hands, after all the scratch card says SBI Card offers...

Really good to share...Thanks for registering complaint against such fraud companies. I too received a scratch and win offer from SBI card and found myself lucky to win the Louis Quartz Product Code:B017 worth Rs 3, 990/- The handling and taxes charges are Rs.590/- I was going to redeem the offer but just thought of having some more info for this so called free product.

Actually the Promoters like CitiBank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sodexo Meal Card & etc are should take the responsibility of the Products which they are promoting to their customers. Simply they are mentioning that their resposible for any thing directly or indirectly for the quality / delivery of the product. That is the promoters are helping the cheating companies to cheat their valuable customers like us. Any how, take care while buying goods like these offers.

I also placed order through AVA and SBI card and received the Watch. The watch strap is of inferior quality and did not even hold it for a day. When I called up AVA and wanted know the service center in channai they made me hold the line for more than 25 minutes and never came back. I again tried and spoke to one tele marketing man and he did not bother to register my complaint and later said the person who is handling is out of station and asked me call after 12 days. If AVA is really serious and if they are genuine company let them solve this issue by taking back the product and help the consumer. It is one way of cheating the general public and if all o[censored]s can join and file case against the company I am willing ...

None of the people received other than the Louis Quartz watch thorugh the scratch card and let any one prove that they received the colur TV or other products, and it is indirect way of promoting a Fraud watch and we can certainly file complaints against both SBI and AVA

I was about to place an order for this Louis Quartz watch...an offer through SBI card. I mean come to think of it a watch costing 3990/- just for Rs.590/-(shipment charges) sounded cool...except for the name which is very fishy, Louis Quartz!!!
Good sense prevailed and i decided to google to find more info about this company and sure enough there is none! We must exercise caution before falling for such jazzy offers...atleast try and find info about the company and products on offer.
All said not all offers are bad, like i just got a Polaroid digi cam through SBI offer with proper receipt and warranty card. Of course before placing my order i did research for the model on offer etc.

Oh God, I am too one of wthe victim of getting dublicate Louis Watch which has no warrenty card, serial numbe and the bill for Rs.500.00 but the Airline I travelled is Paramount Airways. So, everybody is cheating its own customers in their own way in their own style.
But, as maintaining good crew staff and good food, I wont expect this frauduent activities in Paramount Airways.

We were just starting to be fooled by AVA merchantising with their Louis watch offer through Sodexho pass. Fortunately we happened to browse google to check the genuinity of the product.

Serious action need to be taken on such type of fake advertisment and fake products. Govt. Products & Consumer Department need to avoid such fake products advertismets.
