[Resolved]  Louis Quartz — duplicate product

I got Louis watch through my cash offer from AVA Merchandising Company (Jetlite airwayes) of Srinagar on 2nd June 2009. I am also having international guarantee card of 1 year for this wrist watch. That card does not contain any serial no. of watch, date of sale and service center.and also it does not have any email id or website or any contact number. And now I come to know that the battery is also duplicate one.
Please give me suggestion, what i have do right now.

we had also bought LOUIS QUARTZ watch on 9th may, 2009at DELHI AIRPORT through a scratch card offered by AVA Merchandising Company (Jetlite airways).. we hadn't used that yet but after reading all above comments, we are in DOUBT about this WATCH, whether it is original or a duplicate one... PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS WHERE TO CROSSCHECK ABOUT IT...

have been fooled when AVA merchandising has sold me the product for Rs.500/- as redemption charges while flying through Jet Lite.The prise written on their product catloge about the watch was 3990 Rs.

yeah...even same thing happened to me...i bought Louis quartz watch on sbi [protected]@RS.590 i ordered it on 5th Nov..and got it after several reminders. i received it from ava merchandising ...they gave me their own prescription and it says warranty period depends on company and it has product code 1032...but i am not able to differentiate whether it original or not but looks fake one...plzz necessary action should be taken against them

Yes, I was also cheated by Jetlite in their scratch and win card and won a LouiseQuartz watch and paid Rs 550 and received the watch from the Delhi Airport AVA counter. It was working, and now after one month it stops working. The box containing the guarantee card is not signed or sealed. It is really cheating by the jetlite management.

Louis Quartz — Fake Brand promotion by Jetlite and AVA merchadising Ltd.

This product is fake and it is a nexus between Jetlite and AVA Merchandising Private Ltd. This type of activities by jet airways provide a negative impact for their future passenger travelling by jet airways.

With HDFC Credit card Statement, I found AVA catalog it trustworthy enough to order for Blackberry mobile phone Product Code H128 with six month EMI . The product was to delivered with in 21 days and the order was placed on 24/02/2010 . The AVA MERCHANDISING CO had received the full payment of RS12990.00 on the same day that is 24/02/2010 and the amount Rs 2165 as first E.M.I. was also debited from my account. And now without receiving the product Iam made liable to pay E.M.I. This is a breach of agreement on behalf of the company as they took the money for the thing they have not delivered, I contacted the company on 16/03/2010 for complaining the same. They assured me to call within 24 hours but to no avail they didn’t call, didn’t give response to my persistent calling. This is an unnecessary harassment and if HDFC BANK is having tie up with such a fraud company and HDFCcustomer have to go through such things then your
integrity and credibility is becoming questionable and if no action is taken on such a company it would free to such fraud with other customer as well. If your customer have to go through such ordeal I think it is time to look for other options in Banks if no timely action is taken and my money is not refunded urgently.

Thanks for form. I got a similar offer through Jet Konnect while traveling last week. I tempt to order for the Louis watch. Now I got alert. I will not buy.
