Madurai Meenkshi travels is worst in service.. the drivers are too rude even shout at customer if we ask anything. management is worst to the core.one of the worst experiences i had travelling with them.

Bus Comfort: worst ( no space to keep legs in Volvo bus, push back seat falls down in persons behind us)

As my parents are old, I booked in Volvo bus. I thought they will have a nice journey. But they hurt heavily by that bus. Volvo bus is like old government bus. Rexin seat covers. No space to keep legs freely.
Such travels should be banned

Yesterday june25 exactly 5.52pm i booked a bus ticket, from chennai to madurai in your website through the madurai meenakshi travels for volvo a/c semisleeper ticket fare rs.555/-. reporting time 10.45 p.m departure time 11.00pm address akaash bavan hotel, perungalathur, chennai. i was waiting there at 10 p.m onwards, at 10.50 p.m i called travel related queries ph.no [protected] that you have given in the pdf format. that query no. of official person told me like there is some traffic delay so wait for some time and after i called many times he told me like that again please wait sir our travel bus while reaching that place the incharger will contact you and pickup dont worry., but i was waiting upto at midnight 1.30a.m before the 12.30a.m that query no. was switched off.. i felt extremely bad and i had big luggage with some lot of amount money..still i'm in chennai i couldn't travel and reach my native madurai. this morning after 8 a.m that query no. switched on and i got him from my call and i get embarrased because they were overwhelming with their irresponsible talking like its not our fault you can contact redbus officials and he cut the call..
totally this is not my fault they are the responsible please take them in action and kindly make me favor of refund of my money rs.555 they should be compensate for my total stress...redbus ticket- TD7Q74624467

Dear Karthik. You are right. They are such a stupid travels. Getting refund of rs 555 is not enough for that. For the tension caused to you and made you to wait at the mid night the concern should give you proper response along with rs 555.

I would like to share a very bitter experience which happened to me last weekend. I had booked a bus ticket from chennai to trichy in Madurai Meenakshi travels which is a Push back A/C bus and scheduled to board at 11:59PM in perungalathur. Ater reaching Perungalathur ten mins prior to boarding time I called up to the operator number printed on the ticket to get the details on where exactly i need to stand, but i was taken in by a complete surprise saying my bus was cancelled. It was not informed to me about the cancellation earlier and exactly at midnight I was standing on the road with option of no seats left in any other bus. There was a function on the nearby Peerakarani church and the crowd was overflowing like diwali and pongal time and the operator sitting on a 4*4 room cooly replied saying there are lot many buses available to trichy and I can catch anyone of them. Since the crowd was also very high all the private buses were demanding too high fares and after waiting for more than one hour I was forced to to pay 600 INR for a non AC semi sleeper bus which was not worth it. The operators can atleast show bit of concern by calling the respective persons over the phone and to inform about the cancellation. In the recent past I see the last time cancellation has become very common and they have the default reason saying A/C is not working or the bus in breakdown for some other silly reasons. My simple question is if the buses are breakdown why do you show the option of booking bus tickets on those and making people as fools??

Madurai meenatchi travels is Very worst travels. I[censored] want to reach your destination exact time don't book the tickets in this travels.
madurai meenakshi travels is very very worst .i booked a sleeper ticket but they told that bus was breakdown sir we arranged a multi alex adjust with it nu i accepted the departure time was 1PM but they stared it after 2:45 that time also we forced and shout the driver and agency after that they move the bus i booked that bus for my sister she reached chennai @ 10:15 then she booked a own cab to reach her hostel that late ni8
The bus condition is too worst and this is considered to be the worst journey in my life. The trip was from Chennai to Madurai and in ulunthurpet bypass, the bus got sudden breakdown and it took one hour and more to do bring the mechanic. But finally there was no AC and it's too suffocating. We reached for customer care and they behaved very rude. The amount we paid was also not even refundable atleast a half also. Worst service don't try for even a emergency purpose also.
