My father had booked a flat in Brijwadi Aurangabad (M.S.) way back in 2002. But since he was a govt employee (retired now), we didn't occupy the flat. There was nobody living in that premises until last month June 2009. We planned to shift the base to Aurangabad. To our surprise, we found that MSEB has istalled meter on February 2005 without any notification or CONSENT from us. and since there was no one using that premises, they have sent bills on average consumptions. When I checked the history online there was just one bill showing 102 units were used for the period Feb 2005 to June 2005 and the status is showing as "Faulty". We dont know how the reading was taken as most of the times the Official takes incorrect reading. There is just one bill for this period and then next bill showing is on May 2008 where the status is shown as "Permanantly Disconnected" and the bill amount is around Rs.4500/-.
When Asked the officials at Aurangabad offcice, we were advised to clear the due and then take a new connection for another Rs 1000. My question is how MSEB officials install the meter without our consent. We have not filled/signed any application form. The builder is also unable to show the copy of the Application form for MSEB meter.

In spite of regular bill payments before due dates, the above meter was disconnected without infomation to any body and without giving any reason.
