[Resolved]  Maruti Alto — warranty refused

I serviced my vehicle on November 2009 in maruti authorized main service station, Abharan motors in udupi, karnataka. That time i complained about my car rear door hydrolic support since it was not working . they told that since that spares are not available and once it is available they will inform me. I enquired 3 times during two month period. But there is no positive action and my vehicle 2 yr warranty was about to expire on feb 1 2010 . On last week of January 2010 I went to that service station with car and the service person found out that my car dicky door balancer is defective and told that has to be replaced and same has been replaced. They are not ready to give warranty stating that my cars two year warranty expired because my cars invoice date was on 15 jan 2008 as on maruti records, eventhough date of delivery is on 1 feb 2008.. I told them clearly that in my warranty card given from company, it is clearly stated that the warranty is for 2 years from the date of delivery of vehicle... i have given a complaint at Maruti toll free no; my complaint no is: [protected]. I had to pay nearly 800 rupees for this replacement. This service centre created a lot of difficulty to me. Inspite of repeated requests and necessary documents they are still sticking on invoice date for warranty duration, which is said to be expired on jan 15 2010, eventhough my complaint was told on last service ( nov 2009) and delivery of vehicle is dated on feb 1 2008. There was no reply from maruti customer care for 2 weeks. I called the customer centre again. They told that the complaint has been OPENED and they unable to give the present status. This is the worst service with any product I purchased.
