[Resolved]  Metro Shoes — Faulty shoe

I wish to lodge a complain for this horrible experience that I had at Metro showroom today. I had taken a pair of shoes day before yesterday, and to my surprise they are hurting me very very badly. I not even wore them for an hour, and my feet were paining, toes bruised and red. I am not even able to walk in them.
I took them for replacement to the shop where I had purchased them (Forum value mall, Whitefield, Bangalore), but Mr.Vasim (Assistant Manager) is not ready for the replacement. He said as I have worn them, he will not do exchange, he can get them repaired. I don't want to get them repaired as theres no guarantee that they will still be ok, as a shoe which can hurt so unbearably in just half an hour, cannot be comfortable even after any kind of repair. I mean what can they do, just expand it little bit, that will not solve the issue as it is hurting unbearably. What has made me more suspicious of the services of Metro is that, on my asking about the Manager of the shop, Mr. Vasim said that the manager is on leave, then i asked his phone number, and Mr. Vasim said that the manager has left his cell in the shop itself today. If the manager is on leave, then how come he came and left his cell in the shop. I asked is there any other number where he can be reached, Mr. Vasim said that we never contact him, he contacts us. On asking his email id, same kind of response, 'we don't know his email id'.
What kind of Assistant Manager is this who cannot reach his Manager?? I mean is this the way to cheat customers? A shoe is supposed to comfort the feet, that is a prerequisite for it, and if it gives unbearable pain and bruises, then its not fit at all. This is a manufacturing defect as they have made it too hard. If this is the kind of services that are given to a customer, then I am sorry that I ever went to Metro to get myself a pair. I will advise all my acquaintances not to visit any Metro showroom as the shoes are not comfortable and the managing staff tries to cheat the customers. I am so disgusted by this behaviour that I have decided to go to consumer court if my request for exchanging the shoe is not agreed on.

I HAD PURCHASED A SHOE 2 MONTHS BACK FROM YOUR ISKON MALL BRANCH. THAT SHOE WAS OF SUCH A POOR QUALITY THAT THE SAME HAD TORN MY SOCKS FROM MY TOE. I LOST 4 PAIR OF SOCKS BECAUSE THIS SHOE WAS DEFECTIVE FROM INSIDE.

I HAD PURCHASED 2 PAIRS TOGETHER SO THAT I CAN WEAR IT ON DIWALI TIME. BUT ONLY IN 1 MONTH ONE SHOE WAS TORN. IF I DID NOT HAVE PURCHASED 2 PAIRS, THEN WHAT WILL A COMMON MAN DO IF HE GIVES HIS ONLY PAIR OF SHOE IN REPAIRING FOR MORE THAN 1 MONTH??????????????????

I HAVE GIVEN THE SHOE FOR REPAIRING IN LAST MONTH. AFTER THAT, I HAVE VISITED YOUR SHOWROOM FOR 5 TIMES BUT THE SHOE IS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANAGER OF THE STORE SAYS EVERYTIME THAT THE SHOE IS REPAIRED BUT IT IS STILL IN THE SAME CONDITION. WHAT IS THE REASON FOR SUCH BEHAVIOUR??????????????????????????

WHEN I ASKED THEM TO REFUND MY AMOUNT, HE SAID THAT WE WILL NOT REFUND AMOUNT NEITHER WILL GIVE REPLACEMENT. YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE SAME SHOE IN THE CONDITION WHICH WE ARE GIVING IT TO YOU. WHY ARE THEY SHOWING THIS PHASE OF METRO SHOES LTD.????????

I HAVE CALLED FOR SEVERAL TIMES TO THE SHOWROOM BUT THE MANAGER MR. KAMAL IS NOT RESPONDING TO MY CALLS. WHY ARE THEY NOT ANSWERING PROPERLY TO CUSTOMERS?

IF THE SHOE IS NOT REPAIRED, WHY DO THE ASK THE CUSTOMER TO COME AND COLLECT THE SHOE WHEN THE CUSTOMER CALLS THEM?????????????????????????????????

I REQUEST TO PROVIDE ME MY REFUND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I HAVE MADE A BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE TO PURCHASE A SHOE FROM METRO.
