[Resolved]  Micromax — cheated me by selling a china handset

sir,
i 've purchase a micromax q3 model on dated 5 aug 2009,
the shopkeeper told me that this model is very user friendly for accesing internet to the pc, and also it is indian mobile,
even the customer care officer also told that it is indian mobile and u can download pc suite from the website but there is no any pc suite for computer on their website,
now i just become to mad after this,
really i 've fully cheated by this company & indian govt.. which give permission to sell the worst thing in india,

This is among the worst handset i have ever used . their is no service centre netier any point of contact to the company it is puerly a local companey . neither PC suit is avaliable nor GPRS is getting connted i have been looted by buying their latest handset Micro Max q3

i m bcbughani from haridwar in uttrakhand. i purchased a micromax mobile in august 2009and my model no is x250, they told me that this is purely an indian hand set and told me that the gprs services can be fully used in this mobile. but i cant use these services in airtel, the reason is when i contacted my service provider regarding the service they told me that this is a pure china handset and gprs cannot be accessed . so please told me seriously that micromax mobile set is chines or indian cheated by the company. they provided the information of the mobile in www.micromaxinfo.com.

We would like to inform you that MICROMAX phones are indeed made in China.
They just brand the phones "MicroMax" and sell it here.

And, about feeling cheated, well dont always trust the salesperson.
They are there to make sales.

Sometimes, they just answer YES to all questions.

I dont know if you are speaking on behalf of Micromax, if yes, even you are cheated. I had purchased Micromax X414 model just a month back. Though I dont have any such issues, I got to know its a China set when I connected my mobile to one of the phone management softwares. It identified X414 as ZTC TE558 which is a china set. The firmware further confirms the same. X414 is just a modified phone with the change being only the appearance of panel. The keypad layout is absolutely the same (unique compared to most standard sets). You have got to agree its a china set. The worse part is X414 is not in production anymore and website does'nt display it (links are taken away). Yet its available under the same location: http://www.micromaxinfo.com/products/x414.html. I urge the respective authorities to completely ban such companies.

i hav bought micromax q55 i hav no problems regarding the gprs or anything but i cannot access the inbuilt facebook, nimbuzz, opera mini, twitter...however i am able to use d WAP...is sumthing wrong wid these application or is sumthing else
And also i am able to download games from the phone but if i donload the games on pc in jar format and then transfer it to my phone im unable to install it

micromax mobile phone model a60 — cheating

sir i had purscahed an hadset model micromax a60 on 3rd apirl when in use after a day i strated problem in touch screen operating so when 2 service center there told we ll replace the touch screen i said ok till today they are telling no stock this very bad

i use micromax q50 handset & it is very pc friendly & it has has got more speed than brands like nokia & samsung !...
perhaps it is best for me till now !...
