i also faceing same kind of problems in my MTNL net and now i am going to file complain against MTNL in TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India). if they also not able to help me then i file a case against MTNL in consumer court. so i request all o[censored] to join hands and file a compalin in TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India). i promise TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India) can solve ur problems.

People, try this.
Use Download Accelarator PLus(DAP) or Internet Download Manager(IDM). THey are download accelarators that have helped me a lot. I have th unlim. plan too, nd th download speeds are just below 32 kbps. But with DAP or IDM, my download speeds occasionally go up to 70 or even 80 kbps. U can dwnlod DAP for free.

I am facing the same problem since 2 Feb 2009. I complained 2-3 times but no improvements in speed. MTNL has the worst customer care.

same problem..they make u test the speed on their website which came up as..234 kbps...on bit torrent however not more than 20kbps..does any have any solution

I got this connection three months back. It worked fine for three months.

Three days back, my connection stopped working and when restored... it is providing a speed worse than a datacard. I am getting 8-10 Kbps on a broadband... SHAME for MTNL.

It takes ages to open a google homepage on this net now.

I want my old speed back or I will not pay anymore for this connection. Its not upto mark for my use. I need to do office work, including SCREEN-SHARING with my co-workers for which I need a good download speed.

MTNL — broadband speed complain

My broadband no:[protected]. I have opted for 256 kpbs but I get the speed of around 50 to 54 kbps. I have made several complaints on customer care and even sent the mail on the mail id provided by them but every time i receive the cal from them saying that the problem related with the server and will be rectified with in few hours but problem is still persisting.

i have mtnl unlimited broadband plan and my broadband speed should be 256 kbps.but my speed is 170 kbps.from past 7 to 8 days i am facing this problem.i have sent the mail to area manager but nobody has had courtesy atleast call me and update what is the issue still my problem not solved yet...

i am so harresed mtnl broadband services.i am paying extra for more speed but they not provinding me the speed . like fools i am calling up 1504 an still no respond.atleast give me speed as per plan for this month an i assure u i will never use mtnl in my life an suggest everyone

Myself Harsh kumar sharma, i have internet connection but few days its download speed is so low about 30 kbps and firstly speed was 200kbps. My package is unlimited (rs.675)p/m.



I submit complaint at customer care and my complaint number is "40900093" so, please rectify it for my regular work.

Had kar di yaar MTNL waalon ne...Public sector company ho kar Public ko hi lootti hai...I getting speed of just 26 Kbps in a 256 Kbps plan...It seems they r not giving importance to '5' in middle of 256..

MTNL Broadband — Broadband Not working for last 10 days

Instead of various complants registered this time, The Broadband connection is down for the last 10 days. I am told that there is some connectivity problem with the server at the MTNL end, which I wonder why has not been resolved for so long.

I want my balance of broadband usage . My telephone number is 26174849. Please call up MTNL . Wake up. We know you have losses going in the balance sheet . Do not try to make up from consumers .Ya as someone rightly said DON'T SUCK ..

To dealing with the complaint your attitute is not appriciated kindly make some effort as per market standerd to be in the business.

256 kbps means 256 kilo BITS per second not 256 KBps or KILOBYTES per second. If you were getting 256 KBps in 256 kbps plan then it was an error which has been rectified and you should get under 32 KBps. Computer programs measure speed in KBps while isp shows in kbps. Think before y ou speak chutiyon.

MTNL Broadband — Non Working Broadband for approx last 2 Months

Dear Sir
I am a customer of MTNL No 28034586, cutomer number [protected] since last two months.For last 45 days plus the broadband is not working.

I would like to state that I have personally complained on 1504 numerous times. The person Mr Mohinder kumar who looks after Broadband at Dwarka, New Delhi, hasn't turned up even once during last 45 days of complaining. Mr Arora, GM, West1 who sits at mayapuri was met personally regarding this.He promised to look into it, however he also seems to part of the government system.His orders to PA and other officers have fell on deaf ears. His behaviour is not becoming of such a senior post.

Please help me. I am not going to pay any more billings, though I have been paying for last two months without services.
