[Resolved] Mumbai Customs — Parcel not delivered | |
Hi, I have sent a parcel to a friend in Hyderabad from Sydney, Australia on the 1st of February 2010. To make sure that the parcel reaches in time, I opted for Express Delivery and paid a premium for the service. In Australia Post, they have an online tracking system where you can track your shipment online. I have been doing that regularly. Since the 5/2/2010, it is showing that the item is at Mumbai Customs, awaiting delivery clearance. The commercial value of the parcel is nil and I have signed all the paperwork needed for it. I tried calling the local call centre in Sydney but they gave me the same response that Mumbai Customs are waiting for clearance. I don’t know why there is so much of a delay with this as it was suppose to reach in 4-5 working days. Can some one please have a look at it. Spoke to Mr. Rishi, commissioner in Delhi customs, He failed to offer any assitance or resolution. Seems top to bottom in india custom offices are corrupt.
My issues was with regard to various scandals at airport customs, cargo offices where officers are involved in billions of rupees bribe, who extort money from various cargos, courier packages by inflating valuation and blackmailing customers.

These mumbai and Delhi customs operate along with agents of corrupt DHL, FEDEX, UPS agents who facilitate them this money. It is better to forget your package then to break your head with these termite customs, they are robbers, thieves in white clothes appointed by Central govt.
They have been ripping this country from last more than 60 years.
You can even pass bombs, ak47 if you pay them few hundred dollars, butyou cannot even get a toy foryour kid with ease.
in Delhi DHL and AIRPORT CUSTOM OFFICERS are fully involved in blackmailing customers by inflating valuation to extort bribe..

They are not going to respond, but still you will get some satisfaction. THE BIGGEST THIEVES IN INDIA ARE CUSTOMS, INCOME TAX, SALES TAX & POLICE, THEY EXTORT BILLIONS FROM INNOCENT PUBLIC on the name of serving country.
Customs in India sucks, they are one of most corrupt termite and bad name for India.
