[Resolved]  Municipal Corporation Chennai — Stray Dogs to be removed

There are about 10-15 street dogs in our area. The dogs are chasing people who are coming on the way. People cannot walk on the streets in Night time. The Night shift persons are very badly affected and waking in the nights with stones & sticks. This injuries the dog also.

Kindly take an immediate action on this and help us to survive a safe life on nights.

Hi,
I am staying in Annai Velankanni Nagar Phase-1, 8th Street, Madanandapuram, Porur. There are around 12 -15 street dogs which are really creating panic as well as scaring children. These dogs sleeps below the cars parked in our surrounding areas of 8th & 9th streets and car parking of the flats. They used to fight with each other and also chase the children and bikers pass by the street which sometimes ends up with an accident. In the night time all the dogs bark together and creates nuisance the children, elderly people who are sleeping after their shifts. They also get into the compound of the residents of the area and they capture the places below our cars which are parked and fight with each other also damages the garbage and spreads all over the car parking and on the streets.
So on behalf of the residents of 8th & 9th street of Annai velankanni Nagar Phase-1, Madanandapuram, Humbly request you to do the needful and provide a peaceful life to the residents.

We live at Pallikaranai VGP Shanti Nagar. There are so many stray dogs barking and chasing people. We are unable to walk or ride two wheelers.There are primary schools and playschools in the area where children find it difficult to walk or play around.Kindly do the needful.

In our area there are around 10 street dogs on our road these are of big trouble as they capture the places below our cars which are parked and fight with each other and make nuisance sounds at night and now a days they capture places in front of our house and make it dirty and so we are afraid it may infect our kids so please capture these dogs, we are ready to bare the charges if any we just want a solution and freedom from these stray dogs. Kindly help

Staying at AADHI nagar Rajaji Street, east tambaram - 600 059. There are around 3 to 5 dogs in this locality, Causing nuisance especially during night time. Keep following and even charges when sees people carry grocery bags.

There are children's and old people living here. Hoping you could take measures on our problems.

Stray dogs to be removed

I kindly request you to remove the stray dogs that are present in our area. I have a baby and there are many new born babies in and around our area. We face difficulties in making the baby sleep--this has been a common complaint. Babies keep crying all through night as the dogs keep barking and howling in groups frequently. The dogs bark when each and every vehicle pass by through the streets.

I kindly request you to take immediate action. I would be much grateful if this is done as early as possible.

I am a resident of Sankara Subhu Street, Mullai Nagar, Kovilpathagai, Avadi, Chennai, I would like to request you in my street there are several street dogs which roaming around the area and specially in night fight among them they bark a lot. Full night they create lots of noise because of bark. We are not able to sleep and request you to please catch these dogs as soon as possible and be taken to a place where they will be well treated and don't disturb others. Hereby I thank you take my complaint into consideration and help us sort out this problem as early as possible.

Dear Team,

I am staying in T.N.H.B Avadi (Near Avadi Library) . There are lots of street dogs (more than 20) roaming in the streets and making disturbance to the public. We are having kids and we couldn't send them out because of this. Also these dogs bites some people and making lot of disturbance during the nights . Also if we come late night(10 PM) in bike or car they are start chasing people. Kindly request you take necessary action and remove the dogs from the streets.

We live in Perungudi & there are five stray dogs, which disturbs our routine life. We are afraid of the dogs & it may hurt our kids as well in terms of direct bite / disease.

We have atleast 10 stray dogs in our street that keeps braking all night.Its so difficult for us to get back to home during the night time after our shifts. Also during the night shift, when we sleep in the day time, they are causing a lot of disturbance.

Dogs have as much right to live as much these pathetic complainant and their children have. I hate such irresponsible and insensitive people who claim themselves as humans. Shame on us is what i will say. Help the dogs by feeding them from your disposable scrap. They cry out of pathetic hunger. Help municipality officials to catch them and neuter them. Dont complain.
