[Resolved]  Nataraj Indane Gas Agency, Yelahanka, Bangalore — Delay in supplying of gas cylinder

It takes 10-20 days for gas cylinder delivery and supply boys charge extra Rs. 15/-.

Apart from the delay in delivery, its very very difficult to do the booking on phone for cylinder. They have four BSNL number for booking, but all number will be busy always, and i[censored] are lucky to get connected, no body will answer the call.
I am trying to reach them for booking from past two week, but not able to do that..
Its pathatic...
They are worst service provider seen in the area and still no action taken by Indane? Any spacial contacts with authorities or Paid understanding with the supplier?

We had booked for indane gas cylinder about 15 days back and has not been delivered.Both through automatic booking and even over phone, for which we had no response. Today we were told that it will not be delivered at home and were told have to wait & collect the same at his office.
We have also informed the distributor that we like this matter to be informed to IOC.
Please look into matter and ensure that the agency gives proper service.

I m also facing difficulty in booking gas. I m trying their number but no one will pickup the call and it will be keep on ringing.
I think Indane should black list such Agencies and should take action against them. They think they have a monopoly in this part of the city.
I booked the cylinder on November 2, 2009. I was told that the cylinder would be delivered in a week's time. It has not been delivered till date (November 9). All telephone numbers of the agency are not reachable. One wonders whether the agency is operating or closed or the numbers have changed.
Only thing i want to know is the delivery charge. I was charged extra 15 Rs which was not included in the bill i received from the gas agency. If the company is charging it then why it is not included in the bill. And if the deivery boys are doing this then what is the company doing to stop it.
The agency never takes the booking properly and never enter the last delivery in the book. when we call no body picks the call, even if they pick up they say just last month we delivered you
(imagine we book once in 2 months)

I wonder if Indian Oil company takes note of consumer compains!
would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities on the same who can take some quick action of this malpractice.
This agency sucks!!! Wonder how could it run so long with this service attitude. If i know of any agency that could supply gas in this area other than these dumb headed , i would be the first one to change over
ear friends.
I too faced the same situation in getting indane gas cylinder on time. Also the gas agency was abusing the people. i complained to the customer care cell officer and was in vain. then i decided to rotate whip against the faltering agency with a petition signed by 100 customers with their customer number. so if you want to solve the problem, there is only one thing. if your locality facing the same thing, write a complaint addressed to Senior area manager, indian oil corporation which is given on indian oil corporation website and send a copy of that letter to state level manager. the petitionors should mention their customer number also. for me, the gas agency people came to my house for asking me to withdraw the petition. now the agency is begging me to withdraw the petition. so kindly do the same thing. i will give the copy of email if you wish to contact. you are the boss if you are a customer of commercial company. will help u when need..

this distributor is worst in this area. they are not at all receiving the telephone calls. they are not at all issuing the cylinder in time.
Indane:- Please take some serious action on this aparticular distributor as they are only troubling customers instead of servicing.
We have moved from Basveshwarnagar to Vidyaranyapura, & 1st time we booked the gas on jan 8th nearly 1 week after Gas got over as we thought it will be sent in 2 days & we were not in hurry. Lady who answerd phn said it will be sent by 11th but never recvd, on calling back ( again after n times of trying there phone we get answer) they says ur account is locked so she will be taking the booking only after acc gets unlocked, had to go to there office & chase for 1 week then they finally sent it on 19th jan.
Because they delayed to take booking on last month we requested them to take booking early but they insisted minimum 20 days from date of delivery & we were told to book on 9th feb today when i called them they says please call after 1week as the booking will be taken after 28days from date of delivery.
We have had experience with Benaka Indane gas agency & never faced such worst customer experience.
This particular agency is a black mark & bringing BAD name to INDANE.
Also they are only one for bothe yelahanka & VRpura which is not correct. REquest to do something after hearing all such complaints against them

Complaint against Nataraj Gas Agency Yelahanka.
I am trying to book Indane gas refill since three days (from 30th April 2010) over telephone[protected] Mobile Number for booking through internet: [protected]:
These are the problems I am facing:
- No person lifts the phone The message is; Person is not receiving any calls from the number.
- You try after some time: the number is busy with conversation- try after some time.
- Try to book through internet. The mobile is switched off.
- The Indane Booking Office (Near Mother Diary-Yelahanka) is about 4 KM from our place from BEL Layout
Vidyaranyapura. Cannot go every time all the way for booking.
- Time period for booking is 28 days from the date of supply
- The supply takes almost week after booking.
- Many a times I have to resort to use kerosene because of no GAS.
- Even today (03.05.2010 - Monday) I am trying since morning (9:20 AM continuously.); I am not able to
get the line:

I too had the same problem. After a marathon search in the internet, i got a number of Indian Oil official by name Shri James Peter, mailid:- [protected]@indianoil.co.in (or) [protected]@indianoil.co.in.
I wrote a big mail to him. Others also can complain, so that they can understand the seriousness of the issue

There are other points to be clarified:
1. What is the minimum number of days to book refill. Invariably Natraj Gas agency has set 29 days as the minimum number days is the waiting period after delivery date of the second cylinder.
2. Delivery time will normally more than five days. This means 34 days is the least minimum time to get a second cylinder.
3. The booking clerk will never entertain any discussion on this, and will keep the phone.
4. It will take minimum one day to get a telephone link for booking. You should keep trying. It is your luck to get a telephone link.
5. As per their staff there about 67 to 70 thousand connections under this agency and only 4 booking clerks.
6. Internet booking never works and even if you book through this you are not sure of booking, because no confirmation comes for having booked through internet. And take this as an advantage to deny booking. You are at loss and again you have to book telephonically.
7. We are at the mercy of this gas agency, any follow up will not help us.
8.If some body can bell the cat it may work out.

You have not written whether your problem is solved now, are you getting good response when you try booking cylinder and is it delivered in time. If your reply is yes, then we can try something like you, presently it is a hell of a problem with this Natraj agency.
