[Resolved] National Insurance Company — Delay in the intimation to Insurance Company | |||
Dear Sir, This is regarding the Communication from National insurance company Fatehabad dated 12th dec 2012 The Car (Maruti 800 registration no hr22c2070) which is in name of my wife Vandana got stolen on 6th Au12 from Gurgaon which was parked in front of my house the FIR was lodged same day. For claim settlement i submitted all the documents at the Division office Gurgaon Sec 31 on 13th Aug 2012. I received a communication from Fatehabad office stating that my claim is rejected as i did not informed the Insurance company on time. The reason why it got delayed for 7 days was due to the health problem as i was down with sever high temp fever during that time and Insurance company never intimated regarding this regulation. There is no such regulation/statement mentioned in the policy document stating that the customer has to report to the Insurance company with in 24 hrs. Even i checked with the Branch Manager of Gurgaon office at Sec-31, they are settling the claims even after the intimation of 30 days. As i logged the FIR in the nearest PS which is at Sec -40 on the same day of theft which is 6th Aug 2012 please take this into consideration and help me getting the claim settled.
