New Bombay Medical Store — charging more than MRP

I went to buy Recofast Plus tablets that costs Rs.19.55 inclusive of all taxes. The store owner asked for Rs 20. I explained he can't charge more as the MRP is 19.55
He was not ready to listen. So I asked him for cash memo (bill). The bill also printed the total amount as Rs. 19.55.
After arguing further, the owner returned Rs0.50. While leaving, I tried explaining him the rule and he got so mad that he was ready to slap me. Luckily I chose to walk away because I did not want to get hit.

Please tell me how can we tackle this issue.

The chemist is not wrong if he is asking Rs 20 for Rs 19.55 bcoz according to accounting rules amount less then 50 paisa is waived off and amount more then 50 paisa is rounded off to next rupee. This is general rule applied all over the world.
Those People who don't have this knowledge generally argue. Ignorance of law/rule is not an excuse. Moreover minimum amount for a computerised bill is Rs 25. The shop keeper is not bound to issue a bill to the customer if the bill amount is less than Rs25
