[Resolved] Nicco Park Kolkata — Miscommunication for Fun Card | |
Dear Concern When i took a Fun Card on payment of Rs 600 during that time i was infromed that i will get free entry to Nicco Park and 4 other person can enter at a discount of 50% and the rides inside the park will be free + in Super Bowl i and other 4 members will get 50% discount on entry and games. They took my photo and infromed that co-members name is only required and no need for the photo. I have entered Nicco Park 3 to 4 times during which i was not asked for the photo of co-member but on 26th Dec when i went to super bowl i was given a discount of 50% but the co-member was not given any discount and i had to pay the full amount. When spoke to the manager he infromed that i was given wrong info, photo is required for member and co-member. Pls look into the matter. Regards Harjit Was this information helpful? | |

Horrible experience ever!!
On 8th march, 2015 me, my husband along with my sister and her husband visited nicco park. we waited in the queue of cyclone ride when our turn came a lady along with her son(age 10 ) took the last seat of the ride but Me and my hubby offered our seats to them as the boy was feeling very scared.
Middle of our ride our seat's base started moving from its place and all of a sudden came off from its position and we were litarely half standing through out the ride. My leg was stuck between the wooden base and front seat and with each ups and down it was hitting harder and harder! We just grab the iron rod as tight as possible!
We would have died if there was no iron guard.
After the ride stopped i just screamed for help but the persons who were standing there kept standing. After my husband started screaming they came but THEY WERE NOT AT ALL HELPFULL and kept telling it can happen so RELAX! I was still stuck and cudn't move. My husband managed to helped me though he also got knee injury. We saw the wooden base that came off was rotted..
My leg up to knee had become swollen and Blue by then.
After 30mins they somehow managed to get some ice and a broken wheel chair and took me to the first aid centre.
We went to the enquiry booth and wanted to write our complain but they said they have taken care of it and they would be more careful from now on and didn't took our complain in written.
They were also telling its dangerous to sit in the last seat.
IF THAT SO, WHY DON'T YOU STOP PEOPLE TO TAKE THAT SEAT????
Later on my sister informed me that the concerned authority put the woodden base back to its place and again started boarding people to the broken last seat all over again as if nothing have happened...
We visited this amusement park to enjoy ourselves along with our family.And of course we paid a lot...
But the lack of maintenance and some peoples attitudes towards this matter made our (at least mine for sure) experience a living nightmare...
And i know my country and its system ... so not expecting anything.

I request the hon'ble chief minister to shut down this disgusting and third class park immediately
THE RIDES(LIKE : WATER CHUTE) OF NICCO PARK IS NOT SAFE FOR THE VISITORS. ON 31/10/2014, I VISIT NICCO PARK WITH MY FAMILY MEMBERS. AT THE TIME OF RIDE WITH " WATER CHUTE " THE FRONT TWO TEETH OF MY NIECE "MISS NEHA KEDIA "HAD BROKEN FROM THE FRONT HANDEL OF THE RIDE. I VISIT THE FIRST AID OFFICE, THE DOCTOR GIVE A PAIN KILLER AND SUGGEST ME FOR GIVE HER A ICECEAM AND IMMEDIATE VISIT WITH DENTAL DOCTOR .I SEE THAT OTHER VISITORS ARE ALSO INJURED FROM THE SAME RIDE (WATER CHUTE) AT FIRST AID OFFICE . I ALSO INFORM THE MATTER AT ENQUIRY OFFICE . THEY SUGGEST ME THAT IMMEDIATE GO TO ANY OTHER OUTSIDE DENTAL CLINIC.
THEN I VISIT DENTAL CLINIC OF MRS. SAROJ BATHWAL AT BANGUR AVENUE, KOLKATA. SHE TOLD ME THAT SINCE LAST THREE YEARS SHE REGULARLY ATTEND PATIENTS INJURED BY THE SAME RIDE OF NICCO PARK.
SO I REQUEST THE AUTHORITIES OF NICCO PARK TO REMOVE THE SAME RIDE FROM THE PARK AND TAKE NECESSARY STEPS FOR THE SAFTY OF VISITORS.
