[Resolved] Nirmal Furniture, Kirti Nagar — Defected Sofa set delivered
I purchased a new sofa set (3+2+sitting) from Nirmal Furnitures, 83 Furniture Block, Kirtinagar, New Delhi in November 2008.
I placed the order for the sofa set for Rs.31, 300 + 1500(conveyance) on 18 Oct 2008 and got its delivery on 23/11/08.
The Sales person Mr.Arun convinced us that he will take care of everything and deliver the furniture on time, though he took more than the requested time but we agreed just to make sure that the set is well made.
Inspite of giving more than agreed time, the sofa set delivered was not as promised, it was all defected.
It was badly polished though we paid Rs.800 extra for Mat shade polish in the bill.
Also the sitting piece is defected, it is broken and peeled out wood with making defects.
We are really very dissappointed by this defected product that we got from Nirmal Furniture.
After complaining and calling for more than a month to so many sales person of Nirmal Furniture like Arun, Vishal, HemPrasad, Gurmeet, they took back the sitting for repairing and took about 1 month to send it back for which we paid the conveyance charges again.
Unfortunately they did nothing and send us back the same defected piece with all the stains and dirt on sofa fabric making it even more worse.
Now again we are calling them since last month but they are not doing anything, they are not even entertaining our calls.
Once they sent their painter Pujari at our place to faridabad who himself agreed that the piece is defected.
We have been calling them again and again but Nirmal Furnitures are not at all responding us.
We are really dissapointed and frustated and seek help from court.
Please help us.We have bought this Furniture with our hard earned money and the Nirmal furniture had cheated us.
Please help us in punishing them as its consumer's right to get the right thing for what he pays.
