[Resolved]  Noise Pollution — Noise pollution due to marriage ceremonies

Sir,
I live near Sahyadri nagar in Kandivali(W) Mumbai. Various poojas and events are oraganised in sahyadri nagar on all and every Festival ocassions and also some other days. I do not complain regarding having the events or pooja. But the same and movie songs need not be broadcasted over the loud speaker in high decibles from morning 5'o clock till midnight. I have a eight month old daughter I cannot even hear her cry out from the other room due this noise.
Please revert with the steps that needs to be taken for curbing this menace.

Opposite to my home mechanical workshop is there from that they are producing more noise.we could not able to stay in home.they are opening the workshope 8.A.M till 9.P.M.we cannot able do any work at home its big headache for us.We lost our freedom due to this sound.we cannot able to read, we cannot able to watch television.we cannot able to speak telephone.we offen getting ear pain.so please understand our problem and vacate that vehicle workshop as soon as possible.else we cannot live in my house.so please

I STAY AT VENKATESWARA NAGAR COLONY,OPP: LAKSHMI NARASIMHA FUNCTION HALL,MALKAJGIRI,HYDERBAD-47

MY HOUSE IS SITUATED NEAR TO FUNCTION HALL,IN MALKAJGIRI WE HAVE THREE FUNCTION HALLS(LAKSMI NARASIMHA,BALAJI,....) SIDE BY SIDE DAILY THERE WILL BE FUNCTIONS,GET TOGETHERS,MARRIAGES,PARTIES ARE HELD HERE..THEY KEEP A HUGE LOUD VOLUME OF SONGS,ORCHESTRA...I AM FED UP WITH THESE THINGS..BY PROFESSION I AM A DOCTOR PREPARING FOR MY POSTGRADUATION I WAS UNABLE TO STAY AT HOME SO PREPARING IN HOSPITAL DUE TO THESE NOISES AND I AM UNABLE TO HAVE A SOUND SLEEP IN THESE DAYS...THE NOISE IS SUCH A HUGE THAT IT CROSSES ABOVE 140 DECIBLES FOR HOURS..
THEY CAN CARRY FUNCTIONS BUT WITH A REASONABLE SOUND IN A HEAVILY POPULATED DOMESTIC AREA.

ALREADY HYDERABAD IS FIRST IN INDIA IN NOISE POLLUTION..IF THIS CONTINUES WE WILL SOON BE DUFF

WHO WILL SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

It's past mid-night but still loud music going on near Nitesh Forest Hills from ome of local house in area which is disturbing...we are unable to sleep, do any work, children not able to sleep so crying...pls help...

Dear Sir,

At Durgapur - 12 on Shastri Avenue, near Ram Mandir, there is a vambey colony. Whether it is any occassion or not they are making nearby residents life hell by noise of big loadspeakers and it continues for around 18hrs in a day during occassion ... continues till 1pm at night. In most afternoon when there is no occassion they start the load speakers . They use poor quality audio players and bad songs which sounds horrible. It is continuing since vambey colony has been made about last few years. Residents here have complained several times to nearby police stations. No step has been taken to stop this.

People are fed up with the horrible music. Many senior citizen and heart patients lives here and are suffering a lot for this.

After having tried a lot and getting no results, I am humbly requesting you Sir, kindly take note of this and please help us.

This kind of torture is going on for a long time and we have no remedy.

Kindly do something to stop this unbearable torture and help us.

Dear Sir,

I live with my age old mother in Krishna nagar, west tambaram chennai 45. There is a temple at the back side of the house on the main road. The loud speaker is fixed facing the direction of the house in tree inside the temple. The person who cleans the temple puts this loud speaker on all days and during the festival months right from 4 a.m in the morning and goes put to 7 or even 8 a.m. On fridays it again starts at evening also. There are many aged people and many kids studying but this sound goes on and on for so many years. We have told the temple authorities many times but is kept low for 2 or three days and then starts back. Because of this problem we are not able to sleep, due to old age my mother already is not getting good sleep plus this loud speaker noise which exceeds the noise level of 55 desibals. Can any one help to remove this loud speaker and give us peace. God does not want loud speaker and only if speaker is on people will come to know there is temple. Instead of providing some devine feeling this has created irritation. Kindly help.

Loud Deafening Noise Pollution in Coffee Board layout, there is so much of Loud Deafening noise pollution here that people like us who are in working in complete night shift are getting badly affected and regularly losing our sleep in the day morning, there is so much Deafening noise pollution that sleep is reguarly getting disturbed in the day. people like us who work in night shift work in the night what do we get in the day, lose our sleep regulalrly in day & get pissed off.

We live in Firtstlancer Masabtank Hyderabad. The mosque here has recently installed 12 loud speakers of high volume and the same is causing lot of problems to students and elderly people specially the sick elderly people with heart ailments request the authorities to put a stop to this loud speaker menace and give relief to all our colony people irrespective of class creed and religion. the noise is far beyond than the permitted level. I am sure the concerned authorities will put a end to this noise pollution and do justice to us

Hi This is Srinidhi Leaves in Jagajeevan ram nagar (north) Bangalore thats behind Jamia Masjid in the main road, I Seen more then 100 main mosque in bangalore all the mosque sounds lite when they pray are in namaz time but in us area Jamia Masjid makes lot of sound everyday by early morning 5.00am and at night 8.20pm. were should i have have to inform to control this. please help me with this thank you Yours truly Srinidhi.

Very Very Loud Deafening Noise Pollution in Residential areas around Hebbal - Kempapura. The effect of the Noise Pollution is so Very Very Loud and Deafening that Our Eardrums have been damaged. This Loud Deafening Noise Pollution is Regularly DISTURBING and DESTROYING our SLEEP here. This has been very very very very badly affecting the Night Shift working people as We have to Sleep during the Daytime and work entire Night but there is so much of Loud Deafening Banging Ear-bursting Noise Pollution throughout the day that Our Eardrums are getting damaged and SLEEP is REGULARLY being DISTURBED. i live in Vishwas nagar shahdra Delhi my place an illegal workshop is running where heavy factory work is going on and which creates lot of noise and air pollution .i had informed against this to the Delhi municipal corporation the police department and also the Delhi pollution control board . but no action has been taken .where i live is an residential area and the workshop owner has not taken any permission for the same . i am in an very helpless situation and have to face lot of noise every day . i am more astonished regardig the the attitude of the government agencies to stop illegal activities
please guide me what to do ?

there is a lots of sound pollution near our house they are running illegal factory of wood cutting so we infrom them to shift the machine other side so they are not even minding about that so please take some necessary action on that, because i am old lady staying here i had operation also so please its my request to do some thing to save the problems...........
