Nokia 5610 — Does not start; does'nt read memory card.

I purchased Nokia 5610 in Jan 2008.From the last two months it did'nt recognize the memory card.Though the card worked in other phones.Now it is'nt starting. I need a full replacement.

I have a very bad experience from the Nokia Care Situated at Tippsandra and Old Airport Road. I have a joystick control in my mobile and it got damaged. I went there several times to repair it. Those guys are not showing any interest in getting a spare one. I went several times, they used to say the same story. The reason what they are saying is "We cant order one small part, we used to order as bulk" .

I just bought a nokiz 5610 and it started to break at the sides. I went to the company that sold me the equipment and they replied it did not come in warranty because it was not a mechanical problem so what's the deal in buying a NOKIA if the company will not provide you of a complete service?

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have purchase Nokia 5610 music express model few months back. The ime no is358652/01/1714211/4. i got backlight proble, i gave my cell to Authorised Nokia care in chennai they repair it. After four days it show a problem of hanging & again it looses its display, i went to nokia care they repair it & told me that it was software problem & they have updated it. Again it shows the same problem & i gave it to nokia care 0n 1st may &Igot back it on 16th may.
Now again it is in same position 4th time.The Nokia care manager told me that they can't do any thing much than this for me. I am very harrasad by the nokia care's response.This has resulted in to a great loss to me as by the time, in between this my warranty period also overd .I feel a grate difficulty to have conversation with my counter parts and my honorable seniors.Now i am feeling that this peace/model has its individual problem & i want to change it. Please take a positive action for it neigther i wouldn't trust on Nokia products.

bought this phone just few ays aftr its launch...
within 1 months, the phone started hanging.. and the speakerphone produced a "tuck tuck" like noise whenever it rang.. Service center swapped the phone but the problem persisted...
all this phone... nokia's most horrible phone..
and the design pathetic too.. the scroll key on the front broke on its own..

Yes, nokia phones has got many problems. Mine 5610 has problems, too. I bought the phone in August, 2008. From the beginning, it had heavy. software problems, it froze, restarted and all kinds of crap. It went to repair. Then it came back fixed. After 3 months, display broke. It went to Nokia again. It came back with new display, but the "new" display had 3 dead pixels, and 1 crack in music slider, I did not report this . It was'nt a big problem, but I paid 700EEK (about 70$). after 8 months, it has 4 cracks in music slider. I have never dropped this phone. I heard, that 97% of 5610 has music slider problems. now it is 13 months old. and a piece of slider is gone. I am sorry, but the plastic of slider is probably made of pure [censored], and made in China. I know I am going to lose the whole slider. It looks bad even now. It is a good phone, but why are the details in such a low quality? I went to nokia reseller. They said that it is my fault. IT IS NOT! If it is my fault, then it should have cracks in all places. I am very, very disapointed in Nokia. Can somebody help me?

my phone panel was brocken but nokia5610 panel is not there in nokia care center what shall i do now my battey was also bulgeing day by day what shall i do for this i buy last one year backonly till now my mobile with me few months only more in care center only.

Nokia 5610 — Worst quality of handset and poor customer serive

Dear Sir,

I purchased Nokia mobile set – model 5610 (slide model) from Bangalore (Bharthis, 4th block, Jayanagar), on 7th March 2009.
I had encountered several problems during the month of June 09.
1) The handset restarts every 10 mins.
2) My contact list were shown empty.But the contact memory was showing full.
3) I dont recieve the names of the caller even if I have saved them.
4) There were some display problems (Red spots all over the display).
I had given it for service at the Service center situated in Jaya Nagar, Bangalore.
Even though they committed me to service & return within 4 days, it got delayed & i got it only after 15 days.

I had encountered different problems now in Nov 09
1) The handset restarts every 1 min due to which I was not able to use the phone for anything.
2) Display problem. (I have seen all the colours in my display at a time)
3) I was not able to use the handset. Nothing came when I pressed any key.
I had given it for service at the Service center situated in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
I got the problem solved but they have tampered my handset. I dont feel like touching that handset. It is in a very bad shape.

I know about the Nokia instruments all over the world & I don’t know why only in India such problems are not attended to by the service centers properly. My friends & relatives who have got the Nokia instruments does not encounter such problem or if it is given to the service center, the problem does not repeat.

I had so much faith in NOKIA. I thought Nokia was the most reliable and best phone makers and best service providers. Now I dont. I am loosing my faith in Nokia instrument & the service centers.

Even 1 full year/ warranty period is not over from the date of purchase. But I have faced so many problems. I really cant imagine how much I should spend for this handset once the warranty period is over. So please take back this instrument & return the money (Rs 12,400) to me.
If I don’t get proper response, I may have to file a complaint against you.

I had bought my nokia 5610 on april 6th 2008.after two years, i dont know what happened and suddenly my phone started hanging every minute and a black screen appeared every time when it got hanged.please can anyone help me.
