[Resolved]  Nokia — COMPLAINT ON NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE CENTRE

I Dr. G. Jeyabalan, had purchased a Nokia E63 mobile phone few months back. The mobile phone was having the problem of hanging at one page during internet surfing. Last week, it so happened, and I tried to restart the mobile phone. The moment I switched it off, it was not responding any key after that and till now the mobile can not be switched on.
When the mobile had been submitted to Nokia care (Jain Communications,) Alwar, they asked us to wait for two hours, then one day, then two days and finally they said the mobile had to be sent to head office and would take 8-10 days. And finally I had taken my mobile handset back and now I decided to lodge a complaint to the consumer forum for the ignorance and lethargic of the service center.
They prefer to do services for paid service customer rather than warranty service customers like me. If at all they can not provide warranty services, why the company claims for warranty for one year for their products?
This can be taken seriously against Nokia who provides false claims as warranty, and the service center for not providing prompt service, reception to the customers.

and you are given to compansatation rs.500, becouse the goregoan branch same software problem not sole in one time. the software given on 6 time but not solve. Firest time given on mobile in 18/03/09 job sheet no is 15.
may have so request give me mobile replacement or componsatation. I am physically handicapped i am facing traveling problem. you tel me what to do. my contect no is [protected].

Nokia — Problem in new phone as well as in replaced phone for four times

I had purchased the Nokia Mobile phone-NOKIA- 5130-Express on 07/03/2009 from The Mobile Store Ltd., Shop No.49, 50, 51, Sardar Centre, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad . Later on I have found certain complaint in the said phone i.e. Mobile automatically switched off, and accordingly the said mobile was returned back to you for replacement with the company. Then I got new piece of above model but unfortunately there was problem with the replaced piece also. But at that time problem was different and that is the mobile not accepting the memory card, again the mobile was returned to you for replacement. Then I again got the replaced piece but I am very surprised that third time I got different complaint and that time there was a problem of Phone camera, again the same phone was replaced. Finally I got the replaced mobile for forth time and still with problem and at that time the problem was in battery and capturing of tower. The same mobile have already been given to you for the replacement. Now I would like to state that I really fed up with this Nokia model and I request to kindly give me the Nokia phone of different model. I also want to state that this type of service is never expected from such esteemed company. I have felt that at every time of replacement I got the old phone and not the new one.

Though your shop has given me good response, still my problem remains as it is.

Kindly do the needful otherwise I will take some further steps to get the solution of my problem.

I hope you will give me the positive response at earliest.

s.p. hardware store — Phone dead from last 3 months

I have BSNL no[protected]. it was not working from last 3 months i lodged complaint many times but no proper action are taken.in between 3 months only 4 days it was working i dont have any dues even its not working i had to pay monthly rental to them. sir if your authorized to make this possible do it otherwise in sarurpur ind. are we have more than 300 connection we all will go for Airtel because we have good offer from them its not our lose its your and BSNL lose

I have purchase E71 4 month back. there is a problem of speaker the volume of incoming and outgoing call is very less. even in speaker phone the volume is not corract. I have given my handset twice at NOKIA CARE CENTER WZ-200, Bajaj Tower Opp. Rajiv Motors Jail Road New Delhi:110058.
Both time they have kept my handset more then a week but the problem is same. 1st I give my handset on 16 Feb. 2009 Job Sheet No. 16/12 and 2nd time I give my handset on 24 April 2009 and got on tuesday 28 April 2009.

I would request you to please change my handset.

Nokia — Faulty mobile & no customer service

I have purchase the mobile In Jan 2009 Still is with nokia care. I dont know are they sending mobile to nokia company or not because exactly after 15 day mobile came at nokia care. i asked them about replacement but nokia care is not supporting, they said that only internal parts will changed.
this is not World calss company.
I can provide the all required detail bills, job sheet no. if required. I think my 20000 is almost not worth,

I am retailer selling mobiles of all company's but i have been really disappointed by the service of Nokia cares. My customer had purchased a Nokia N72 the handset is replaced 3 times from the Nokia Care but the handset they are sending always a handset with another problem. This handset is at service center from last 5 months.

1st handset - Had battery problem. ( Imei - [protected] )

2nd handset - Had Network Problem. ( Imei - [protected] )

3rd handset - Had No Network Problem. ( Imei - [protected] )

Nokia 6233 — bad service

I'm raman from patiala(punjab). I gave my mobile even 6 times for repairing, but they dn't repair it. After several complaints they repair.
Now i'l decide to go to CONSUMER COURT against bad service. I tell you first. I had wasted so much money and time on repairing. And bear mental tension also.

Nokia 6300 — Hanging of Camara and Warming up

Dear Sir,
I had purchased Nokia 6300 handset from Nokia product on 2o Jan from South Delhi, after purchasing it I found many problems on it 1st its being warm up on its normal taking and listining songs 2nd its battery back up is very low ( bascilly I purchased it becase Nokia brand was khowing for its strong battery backup) 3rd its camara is being handing on taking photo.

Officer, In this regard I had submitted it at least 6 thimes at Micro Services Kalka Ji centre New Delhi
1st time they repaired it, 2nd time they replaced battery 3 rd they sent it to concerned Head Quarter 4th they again sent it HQ 5 th five again Head Office, 6 th tive also submitted to HQ but last all problem remain unchnaged.

In this regard I had send many e mail and many time a had a long discussion with Nokia careline / Nokia support but every time they told me we will do something if your hand set will submitted at Nokia care, after submitting it I try to call up them they told me it is on reparing, then its ready now you can pick up from your service centre.

I request all Service centre, Nokia care line, and customer support if it is not repairable then issue me a new handset, but no response in this regard I has gottting.

Nokia — sim is not avilable

dear sir,
my mobile no is [protected]...my sim is not working...in mobile messages shows no sim in mobile..i went to bsnl office jamshedpur(jharkhand)...but there is no sim available in jamshedpur...
without sim i am very much disturbed my daily life as ...as mobile is very much essential in our life.

I am using nokia n81 handset..and few months ago earpiece of my handset was not working. I went to nokia care Adajan road branch, Surat, Gujarat and that problem was being solved but after a month that same problem was arised..I again went to nokia care but they didnt give a good responce..Then i went to another branch of nokoia care on Sumul dairy road, Surat, Gujarat..They didnt even solve the problem but they damaged the keypad ...My handset is in warenty period ..please help me properly and suggest me what should i do?
if you can help then please suggest me what steps shouid i take further..

Nokia — Handset not charging within time

Respected SIr, I purchased my mobile from NOKIA on 9th Feb. 09. Since then My phone doesn't get charged within time. Battery was taking 3 and half hour to get fully charged even it is to be get charged within just 2 hours and 15 minutes as per the user's manual book of company itself. I went to service centre and complaint this fault. They immediately changed me with another charger. My problem didn't get solved. It started taking 4 hours and 45 minutes to get charged complitely. Once again I went to service centre. They advised me to get mobile formatted because the software is to be updated. My mobile didn't have the new software that could help charging speedily. So I got convinced and got my mobile formatted. My problem was still there. Once again I went them. They now say let we check your problem and then we will sent it to Delhi for more services and it will take 15 days to solve your problem. Now I say I don't want this piece. Let me get it replaced 'coz it has just taken 3 months to purchase my mobile. I have paid 7130=00 Rs. Why should I bear all this stuff? If I had given 7100=00 rs. Thet won't give me that piece. They say if you want to go to consumer forum, you can go but it is our company policy we can't replace it. My mobile has the facility of 3G and PTT, that are to be launched in future. If in future when these functions will start working and if I find a problem in it then what should I do? At that time my mobile would be out of warranty. I will not get any free services too. I also told the service centre that since feb. 09 to may 09 no one has registered this type of complaint so only my mobile piece is deffective but still they say it is company policy.Sir, what is company policy? By paying this much amout why should I bear as they are not. Sir, Pl. help me out. Sir, I had the purchased the same mobile in the month of August 08. But unfortunately it fall into water and it's PCB was damaged and My piece became out o[censored]se. I didn't tell my family members about this problem because I belong to a middle class family, if they hear that my piece is now of no use. They would be shocked. So I went to my friend and borrowed 7100=00 rs. and purchased the said piece in Feb. 09. Sir, I am giving 1000-00 rs. installation every month for my borrowings and facing the problem too. Sir, u can understand within just 9 months I lost my 14, 000 rs. Sir, I think u can understand how it is difficult to survive for a middle class family for this much amount.Sir, once again I humbaly request you to help me whether I would get justice by getting my piece replaced. SIr, pl. reply soon.

Nokia N70 — nokia care c-4, sec 2 noida UP

Initially my compliant was relating to display only but later on wen i got my phone back it was in worst condition. now its not at all working, no display, key pad is not working not able to insert memory card. please suggest me what to do.

Nokia — Bad Support & Repair Center

I have nokia E-51, last couple of month i facing some problem it automatically switch off & key pads are not working but after giving that repetitive time to nokia care they are not able to resolve the issue and also there customer care help line, website & sms service all are not reachable to not replying

If they are not able to resolve this issue they should replace the phone. my phone is still in warranty.

From the above posts it is clear that NOKIA is the worst in terms of customer care.I thought it was a problem only in my state, Kerala but going by the large number of posts from all over India, it seems that NOKIA is having a laid back attitude when it comes to customer service.One point I noted is the clause by NOKIA that if the technician reports that the cellphone motherboard then all warranty is void.So tell me NOKIA who decides whether the technician is telling the truth?Am I wrong in assuming that NOKIA has clandestinely promoting the practise of voiding the warranty of around 30% claims so that this could prompt new purchases?Or is it some kind of malpractise by the NOKIA Care centre technicians?Whatever the case may be, it is the customer who is at the receiving end.This should end.Period.No company should be given the liberty of playing with the customers hard earned money.

Nokia Phone — During warranty period charging for repair work

Mobile phone was given for service 10.04.09 at Nokia care for repeated issue. They informed me that there could be problem in board and we will rectify and keep observation for some time. When i aproched today they are saying water entered into mobile phone and i need to pay around Rs 2300/- for repairwork.
