[Resolved]  Nokia — Complain on Nokia Care Services in Chennai, India

Dear All,
I am one of the Nokia mobile users for the past 5 years. All my family members are using only Nokia mobiles and I also recommended my friends & colleagues to go for Nokia.
I had trust on it before but not now… I am sorry to say that…. Because you people made me to do so.
I am really Sorry to say that I lost all my confidence and faith with NOKIA..
I never had such a worst experience from the NOKIA CARE..
Let me explain the problem..
" I purchases a New Mobile NOKIA - HANDSET - 2630 - BLACK from one of your vendor "UniverCell Telecommunication India Pvt Ltd. Velachery Branch" on March 07, 2008. I came to see that it gets hanged or struck in between very often while using and the mobile becomes stops functioning, then I have to remove the battery and then reset the mobile and then only I have can use it. I thought it might be loose contact or the battery might not properly pack. I very often found that my mobile hanged. On March 09, 2008 I took to the vendor where I bought, they redirected me to NOKIA CARE at Taramani, Chennai they redirected me to NOKIA CARE at TTK Road Alwarpet, Chennai they and again they redirected to NOKIA CARE at Royapetta, (Near Sathyam Theratre) Chennai. See the way of how each service centre palys with the customer. And finially I went to NOKIA CARE on March 27, 2008. (Service Center Details - ROCKY AGENCIES, New No:32, Old No: 10, Thiru Vi Ka Road, Royapetta, Chennai. ASC : 124_343506, Contact Number:[protected], Email Address: [protected]@nokiacareindia.com and MY Job Sheet Number:[protected]/080329/6 Dt: 29/Mar/2008). At first they checked it and told it was a Software Problem, and they reloaded it and gave. After that when I bought the mobile to my home and tried to charge it, I got an error message "Charger Not Supported" and then on March 29, 2008, I took it back to NOKIA CARE, they once again diagnosed that the issue is with the Board, we have to produce it to Head Office and then get rectified. So they took the Mobile and then asked me to come after 2 days, after 2 days when I went to collect my mobile, they told me that Since it a Board problem it will take another a week, and I asked them please inform the correct date so that I can come at right time. (Because I work for an MNC Company _ Hewlett Packard (HP) as a Operation Research Manager, My Home is at Velachery, Chennai and my work place is at Sriucheri, Chennai which is 50 Kms away from city. I used to go my office early around 8 AM and return Home late nights in the evening, so I had hard time to track the status of my mobile) After a week (Today - March 11, 2008) when I especially took leave and approached them they Said it will take another 10 days and it is a issue with Board, so mobile have to replaced. Then I got annoyed and lost my control and I asked the Customer technician over there... to get me the exact date so I will get back to you so that I don't have to come all the way and hearing some excuses, this make me more tensed. Then I requested the service person that please check with your head office and get me the exact information. After wards they told me that NOKIA had stopped manufacturing this model and we don't have it local stores and also in Nokia priority Dealers, So you have to wait for another 10 days. For further information they just asked me to contact Head Office. See I gave the mobile to the NOKIA CARE Center they gave the mobile for servicing it to Head office, And I don't know who to contact & what to ask them...(Because I got a information from one of my colleague these guys give the customer mobile to some local person for serving and they are paid cheaper and also I heard that these technicians uses the customer mobile for there own use saying that they are testing... I don't know how true so far). Then I thought to contact the SERVICE CENTRE MANAGER, they said he will come late so it not possible for you to meet, then I told that I will wait, then they asked me to wait for 15 minutes and they asked me came with a solution that I will get my mobile will be ready by today evening. And asked to come and collect it.. But when I went to the Service Centre evening, they made me to wait for an hour, then came with a Solution that, we got a New replacement mobile for other customer since you are coming often for your mobile, so If you wish you can avail this, then I enquired about the warranty on it, they said it have the warranty what that mobile has, and you will not be covered under any warranty with this, if you come across any problem in future. Then I got tensed and annoyed and then I request for my mobile, again they tried to postpone the days (you have wait for another 10 days), then I requested to give my mobile back or to know the status of it. They just simply asked to contact the Head Office, and they are not giving the head Office address they ask us to contact through phone[protected] I tired al lot it goes to IVR and get disconnected. And no proper response from the Nokia Care. See the controversy in statement (March 11, 2008).
See I bought a mobile because of the Durability and brand name but... I lost all the Hopes and confidence that they will give my mobile today... Already one month of my warranty gone in service centre and I don't you please give Warranty and Guarantees of your products... I hardly used the mobile for less than 10 days only... but I had terrible and bad experience in customer servicing with the Nokia...Care... Not only me I found most of the people who come for serving face a terrible experience...Like no proper response when we give a call... or they disconnect the call while speaking... They spoil the name of Nokia...
Note: Important: If I don't receive proper response from this Mail I am going to take severs action against the company through legally and also I am going to publish an article on all the local magazines. And I going to forward this mail to all the over web and also through my company intra net to all of my colleagues those who are working in HP (Hewlett Packard) to higher officials in and around world..
And finally I kindly request you people all those who represent NOKIA to give right Information to customer and commit yourself what you say... Or don’t spoil the Brand name"...
See the loyalty to the customer it not me suffered there are many customer like me….

I need a Solution for this….
If any one of the concern person directly from Nokia contacts me will be highly appreciated…..

I gave my Nokia 6110 for repair around 5 months ago when the display started giving black horizontal lines. Nokia care center replaced the display in warranty. But a completely new problem arose after the repair. My phone battery gets drained in less than a day. I tried replacing with a new battery and I still have the same problem. Now when I went to Nokia service center at Ashok Nagar, Chennai, they refused to accept the phone saying that the phone is not in warranty period, even though I agreed to pay for the service. The customer care executive asked me to buy a new Phone. I am very well aware of when to buy a new phone and I do not think I should buy a new phone every year. I have paid 13000/- for this phone and I expected nokia to provide service even after 1 year. But now after a round 1.5 years they are telling me to buy a new phone because they cannot repair a phone which has a display/motherboard problem causing the phone power to drain in less than a day. Can I get a repair for my phone or should I contact a third party service center for the repair?
network problem in my handset nokia 5200?

what is the step to run network successfully in my handset.
I have purchased a Nokia mobile 5130c-2 on October 1st, 2009 . It went to service centre on the next day of purchase because camera is not working, they took about 30 days to rectify the problem. After that it has continuously giving problem of not working like FM and other software related problems even after rectification by your service centre personnel (about 4 times till now).

Now I have the same problem with the cell phone, your service centre guys telling that they won't replace it with new one and can send to company and rectify it. And I have the little patience, above all showing the deficiency in services from your company, if you don't take appropriate measure, I will initiate legal action against your company.

I purchased the nokia model 5800 express music in nokia center at covai, bt that nt work proper, so i gave to replace to that nokia center whr i puchase, they gave me used one phone not worthless..that model not working now.

This is with reference to the Nokia N97 which I purchased from Sangeetha (Forum Mall, Bangalore) on 19-Feb-2010. I have been facing a software problem from the very next day of purchase (20-Feb-2010). I was advised by the executives in Sangeetha to get the software upgraded at the Nokia Care centre to fix the problem, which I did. However, I still faced problems. Besides, being a business man, my business contacts and other information stored on my mobile is very imperative for me to retain, which inspite of mentioning in the charge sheet at Nokia Care, they failed to do. I had handed over the set to Sangeetha again on the 01-Mar-2010 to get the issues fixed. No one has a clue where the glitch is. I paid Rs. 30, 779/- for this phone only to have a terrible experience from Day 1. I have been using Nokia for almost a decade now, but this experience has left me and ofcourse, all my contacts aware of this issue, quite reluctant about the brand. Request you to kindly replace my phone with an alternate model which will ensure a satisfied usage.

I had purchased the mobile the description of which has been stated as above. During the guaranty period the mobile set gives problem. On this count I had been to your office to repair the defects pointed out. Your goodself on some pretext or other adopt dilly dally process. I attended your office tending the mobile for replacement or in the alterative for repair on 23/11/09 , 18/01/10, 22/01/10, 11/02/10, 09/03/10 ,five dates. On all the occasion you have turned a deaf ear to our problem. Therefore I have been constrained to bring it to your notice in writing.
Your goodself being the agent of the company shall be deemed to have act on behalf of the company. And this notice shall be deemed to have been served on the company in its full force. In the event you have not taken any steps for replacement of the defective handset within 3 days from the date of receipt of the notice, I shall bring an action as deemed just and proper along with a prayer for the legal expenses and cost.

I bought Nokia 3110C, and after few months I went to "Perambur" NOKIA customer service to complaint about my mobile (problem with microphone and headset), for this customer service people asked me to update the software. And I agreed to accept the software updation to get rid of the issue. But once the software got updated, I've found an another problem with my mobile., that is PHONE MEMORY got reduced. Because of this, I couldn't receive a single MP3 (4 MB) song through Blue tooth from other device. So, again I contacted Nokia customer care, they took my mobile and asked me to collect it after 2 days for this. When I contacted them to collect my mobile after 2 days they asked me to come after 2 more days. And finally, I collect my mobile after 7 days, but the problem still persists, do not know what they've done with my mobile for a week.

Again I went to Perambur Nokia customer care and asked about the issue, they simply asked me "Why did you bought this mobile?". If you want to transfer a song through Bluetooth, you should've brought the mobile with higher memory space.

And then I went to the Royapettah Nokia Service, they were really good and solve my problem with in an hour. Very good service. I really appreciate the rep.

Nokia N79 headset — not satisfied with service

I bought Nokia N79 from hisar on Feb. 12,2010 and after 2 months,there was a problem in its headset.I went to nokia care in Jind &they told that it will be changed . After 15 days, I went there and they changed only one part of my lead and said that both are changed but one of them was older one and that is why I am not satisfied with your service.One part of headset is black and the new one is white.

I have a N5800 Express Music phone purchased on[protected]. My headset give some problem & problem has been rectified by Nokia Care. The Nokia care person told me that the problem occurred due to my 8GB memory card which come along with my handset. They told me to change my memory cards. My question is that can I avail warranty or replacement of my memory card as my phone is under warranty period & I also extend my warranty period for another 01 year.

Nokia — battery gets exhausted,and in incoming calls voice is low

i am very disappointed with the model nokia 5130 xpress music which we brought it before few months. it always gets white screen while using and gets hanged, we have to always switch off the phone to get the display again.it has many errors and battery backup is also bad.now the phone is not working and nokia care is not giving us the response properly.so please kindly take necessary actions as soon as possible .waiting for your response.

Nokia — Nokia 5800 multiple issues, bad response from Nokia Care

Sub: Nokia 5800 Issues & more so related to Nokia's uncaring Nokia Care

Could someone pl provide me the action I could take against Nokia care - which has turned a deaf-ear to my repeated complaints concerning my handset 5800. My issues have not been fixed even after nokia "care?" sent to Noida for fixing. Apparent, they didnt do much and I still have several issues with the handset. To name a few - it would turn-off on its own, battery would drain very fast, after any message/call made - it restarts (not always but very often), the settings have been messed up after i got it back from the Nokia 'care'. I cant get to use GPRS or any other service including the ones my Servicce Provide Airtel provides! Annoying and extremly lethargic customer care (Koramangala & Murugeshpalaya Nokia Care).

I am not thrilled about going through the painful task of giving it to the 'NOkia CARE', & they looking for superfical issues & instantly turning us over to Noida & leavin me in lurch while returnin back the handset & not telling what they did or providing any guarantee that the problem wont recur. The Noida care SLA being 11 or 15 days, they take nearly a month to return the handset & i have to follow up.

I am a Nokia partron for over 10 years & now, I am tired o[censored]sing the 'defective' handsets Nokia has started to sell. I dont know whom to approach now. Nokia care is definitely out of question - thanks to their apathetic customer care & follow-up. I dont know who in Nokia after-sales take this seriously about replacing the display or what-ever or the whole handset.

I bought this handset for 21000 - it is not a small amount for me to pay for the trouble it gives.
The handset has never been dropped & used very carefully.
I also have an extended warranty - to avail perhaps looking at their lack of customer care!
My next handset will Never be a Nokia again.

Could someone pl guide me on what I could do next so Nokia/Nokia Care takes customer issues seriously?
I understand that Nokia's 5800 is a product with lot of defects & Nokia's response is not helping customers with their ROI.
