[Resolved]  Nokia — Complain on Nokia Care Services in Chennai, India

Dear All,
I am one of the Nokia mobile users for the past 5 years. All my family members are using only Nokia mobiles and I also recommended my friends & colleagues to go for Nokia.
I had trust on it before but not now… I am sorry to say that…. Because you people made me to do so.
I am really Sorry to say that I lost all my confidence and faith with NOKIA..
I never had such a worst experience from the NOKIA CARE..
Let me explain the problem..
" I purchases a New Mobile NOKIA - HANDSET - 2630 - BLACK from one of your vendor "UniverCell Telecommunication India Pvt Ltd. Velachery Branch" on March 07, 2008. I came to see that it gets hanged or struck in between very often while using and the mobile becomes stops functioning, then I have to remove the battery and then reset the mobile and then only I have can use it. I thought it might be loose contact or the battery might not properly pack. I very often found that my mobile hanged. On March 09, 2008 I took to the vendor where I bought, they redirected me to NOKIA CARE at Taramani, Chennai they redirected me to NOKIA CARE at TTK Road Alwarpet, Chennai they and again they redirected to NOKIA CARE at Royapetta, (Near Sathyam Theratre) Chennai. See the way of how each service centre palys with the customer. And finially I went to NOKIA CARE on March 27, 2008. (Service Center Details - ROCKY AGENCIES, New No:32, Old No: 10, Thiru Vi Ka Road, Royapetta, Chennai. ASC : 124_343506, Contact Number:[protected], Email Address: [protected]@nokiacareindia.com and MY Job Sheet Number:[protected]/080329/6 Dt: 29/Mar/2008). At first they checked it and told it was a Software Problem, and they reloaded it and gave. After that when I bought the mobile to my home and tried to charge it, I got an error message "Charger Not Supported" and then on March 29, 2008, I took it back to NOKIA CARE, they once again diagnosed that the issue is with the Board, we have to produce it to Head Office and then get rectified. So they took the Mobile and then asked me to come after 2 days, after 2 days when I went to collect my mobile, they told me that Since it a Board problem it will take another a week, and I asked them please inform the correct date so that I can come at right time. (Because I work for an MNC Company _ Hewlett Packard (HP) as a Operation Research Manager, My Home is at Velachery, Chennai and my work place is at Sriucheri, Chennai which is 50 Kms away from city. I used to go my office early around 8 AM and return Home late nights in the evening, so I had hard time to track the status of my mobile) After a week (Today - March 11, 2008) when I especially took leave and approached them they Said it will take another 10 days and it is a issue with Board, so mobile have to replaced. Then I got annoyed and lost my control and I asked the Customer technician over there... to get me the exact date so I will get back to you so that I don't have to come all the way and hearing some excuses, this make me more tensed. Then I requested the service person that please check with your head office and get me the exact information. After wards they told me that NOKIA had stopped manufacturing this model and we don't have it local stores and also in Nokia priority Dealers, So you have to wait for another 10 days. For further information they just asked me to contact Head Office. See I gave the mobile to the NOKIA CARE Center they gave the mobile for servicing it to Head office, And I don't know who to contact & what to ask them...(Because I got a information from one of my colleague these guys give the customer mobile to some local person for serving and they are paid cheaper and also I heard that these technicians uses the customer mobile for there own use saying that they are testing... I don't know how true so far). Then I thought to contact the SERVICE CENTRE MANAGER, they said he will come late so it not possible for you to meet, then I told that I will wait, then they asked me to wait for 15 minutes and they asked me came with a solution that I will get my mobile will be ready by today evening. And asked to come and collect it.. But when I went to the Service Centre evening, they made me to wait for an hour, then came with a Solution that, we got a New replacement mobile for other customer since you are coming often for your mobile, so If you wish you can avail this, then I enquired about the warranty on it, they said it have the warranty what that mobile has, and you will not be covered under any warranty with this, if you come across any problem in future. Then I got tensed and annoyed and then I request for my mobile, again they tried to postpone the days (you have wait for another 10 days), then I requested to give my mobile back or to know the status of it. They just simply asked to contact the Head Office, and they are not giving the head Office address they ask us to contact through phone[protected] I tired al lot it goes to IVR and get disconnected. And no proper response from the Nokia Care. See the controversy in statement (March 11, 2008).
See I bought a mobile because of the Durability and brand name but... I lost all the Hopes and confidence that they will give my mobile today... Already one month of my warranty gone in service centre and I don't you please give Warranty and Guarantees of your products... I hardly used the mobile for less than 10 days only... but I had terrible and bad experience in customer servicing with the Nokia...Care... Not only me I found most of the people who come for serving face a terrible experience...Like no proper response when we give a call... or they disconnect the call while speaking... They spoil the name of Nokia...
Note: Important: If I don't receive proper response from this Mail I am going to take severs action against the company through legally and also I am going to publish an article on all the local magazines. And I going to forward this mail to all the over web and also through my company intra net to all of my colleagues those who are working in HP (Hewlett Packard) to higher officials in and around world..
And finally I kindly request you people all those who represent NOKIA to give right Information to customer and commit yourself what you say... Or don’t spoil the Brand name"...
See the loyalty to the customer it not me suffered there are many customer like me….

I need a Solution for this….
If any one of the concern person directly from Nokia contacts me will be highly appreciated…..

Nokia E71 — Poor quality of service by Nokia engineers

Hi,

I had given my E71 mobile for service to Nokia service center via Univercel dealer for hanging issue. I was returned the mobile after a week but the key pad not fixe properly. I approaced Univercel again and they said it has to go to Nokia service center again. Now after 6 days my mobile is returned but the keypad not fixed properly. some keys are still very hard to use.
The condition of my mobile has gone from bad to worst. After purchasing the mobile of Rs. 17000 this the kind of treatment I get from Nokia and Univercel.

i agree wid u... coz evn i m facin almost d same prob... des technicians rly knw nothin... my problm was minor initially... bt wen i gav it d servic centr den was d tym wen i got pisd off... coz aftr recivn it causd so many probs... nt evn a yr had gone by nd it startd causin prob... i went 2 dat stupd hopless... phone spoilin centre 3 tyms... nokia sucks!!!

Nokia 5800 — Mobile has many issues and unable to get extended warranty after 6 days after out of warranty.

I purchased my mobile on my 1st salary against all odd. With me cousin also taken . From that day I have taken it, 'm become a regular customer to Nokia care. Every time i go there they ll update to latest version and reinstall the O.S by this old problems remains the same new features n problems added on with the patches. Still the phone is too slow and hangs a lot. Yesterday I went to Nokia care to extend the warranty, they told its already over by 6 days n out of warranty. I requested them and also called Customer care to extend the warranty but they rejected.There is hardware problem for the mobile but care people never accepted it, now 'm unable to use my default headset 'm really fed up. I sold the other mobile because of this reason and resale value is 2000. Day after day slowly every function is stopped working. Think my mobile break down period is 1 Year. At no point of time whether Nokia tried to know its customer satisfaction and never contacted me. Is there a way the Nokia trusted? It hurts a lot something when you take something from the heart, please don't fool customers.If I mail Nokia I never don't get any reply. 'm fed o[censored]p of running behind Nokia and using this mobile. Please advice.

After nearly 10 day, i called up them for the update, i was happy to know that the job was done. But the happiness was short lived as i found the outer shell of my mobile display was having cracks. When i informed the same the started arguing that the mobile was given in that condition. I was shocked that a Nokia Priority dealer was talking like that. I insisted that the mobile was not having any cracks what so ever and i was not willing to take my mobile in that condition. So, they have agreed to replace with new display. Today 24-Feb-2011, again i called up and went, but i was shocked that they have replaced the display slide from another mobile which for services and used badly. When i argued the same they were saying that the mobile will be returned in the same old condition. A normal road side vendor would have done the job within two days and deliver the mobile in good condition.

Lesson:
1) Do not give your mobile for servicing at the Nokia Priority dealer, give it only at Nokia Care(i do not have any Nokia Care experience yet)

any one who have problems with nokia better lodge a complaint with the consumer court . Hi sridhar sir better lodge complaint with consumer court, being aliterate you must have known about consumer court where any hard issues can be resolved . i suggest you to try this .

This is to bring to your reference about the harresment i am facing from Local Nokia Care Manager (Bright Info Com, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India) in regards to my Nokia N8.

I have bought Nokia N8 handeset in the month of Nov 2010 (IMEI - [protected]). The handset worked all well till March 16th 2011.

On Mar 16th, my handset went dead all of a sudden and did not switch back ON...tried charging but of no use. So submitted my Handset with Nokia care center at my place.

First Instance:

I submitted the handset on Mar 17th 2011 at the above mentioned Nokia Care Point. They said that the set needs to be sent to company to get repaired and would take more than 10 days.

After several follow-ups, i got my handset on Mar 28th (Fully Charged). I took my handset and observed the display was showing purple tint. When asked abt the same at the Nokia Care center, they told me that it is not a issue at all. So i left the place and used the set for a day.

On 30th of March 2011, when i tried to charge the handset, it was not charging... :( which means the handset is still with the same problem. I went to Nokia Care and inquired about the same.

They asked me submit the handset again, so that they can send it to Nokia Company and get it repaired.

Second Instance:

So, as per the Nokia Care Point people, I submitted it again. The Handset went to certified technicians of Nokia for the second time for the same issue.

After several follow-ups with Local Nokia Care and the Nokia Cust Care, i got my handset on 14th of Apr 2011. Only to see the handset charging with more purple issue.

Again on Apr 26th i had the same problem (Handset not charging). which means the handset is still with the same problem.

Third Instance:

On 26th of April 2011, I went to Nokia Care and inquired about the same.

They asked me submit the handset again, so that they can send it to Nokia Company and get it repaired.

Which means the Handset is going to the company for the third time to get repaired by the "SO CALLED CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS OF NOKIA" for the same issue.

"Three Repairs on the same handset with same Problem"

I got pissed off this time with Nokia...

Me being with Nokia from past 11 Years never experienced this issue. This is for the first time i had observed this and really got vexed with this handset (Nokia N8).

This time i was really in need of hasle free handset from Nokia...but from Nokia Cust Care when inquired got to know that even third time it is getting repaired and being sent to NCP.
This was heights...and now the Nokia Manager (Mr. Ashok) who introduced himself as a branch manager for Bright Info Com, Visakhapatnam assured me that he will get me a replaced handset.

After several days of tiresome calls and running around NCP, i was finally told that they are going to give me a replaced handset. I got the handset on first week of May 2011 ( IMEI: [protected] ). It was working fine with this Purple Tint display problem. when asked about the same he (Mr. Ashok) said that he is going to replace the display the next week of May 2011 ( which means second week of May). So i returned home with a handset with display problem.

On Monday, May 09 2011, i received a call from Nokia Cust Care to know the status on the complaint which i raised for all the above mentioned problems and said that they are replacing my handset and gave me a IMEI number (Sorry not handy now). I was really shocked and called up Mr Ashok from NCP, Visakhapatnam. (+91 - [protected]) and told the same thing to him.

He said that he has given a different handset as a customer courtesy and did not wait till Nokia Company to send a handset to me.

I really doubt this behaviour of Ashok then as i thought may he was trying to get away with the handset which had the display problem (which he gave to me) and could get a better handset.
The very same day he called me up in the evening and said that the handset which Nokia Company has sent is not all a good one and said that he has actually sent it back to the company. When asked the reason behind he calling up and telling me this, said that "This is for your information and not to mention about he taking a valid decision on giving a different handset to me)

From then he is not answering my calls and when ever he is, he started giving excuses that "the displays are not yet in the store" on fine day when called up, he actually asked me come down at 7.30 PM and could get my handset repaired for the display. When i was there on time, he gave me a excuse that the stock had arrived now only and would take sometime to get everything settled. And saying so asked me to come the nextday.

As, I stay 21 kms away from the NCP. I thought of calling him before starting from my place. But he never used to answer my calls :(
When called up on the Landline of Bright Info Com[protected], they staff out there used to give irrelevant answers to my questions.

He is still playing with my patience till today by asking me run around the store and call only to listen to a answer that the stock is not yet in...

I seriously feel that Mr. Ashok is taking his revenge on me as i have raised a complaint against him and his staff here in Bright Infocom with Nokia Cust Care[protected]
as they were not responding to me properly when i was there at NCP on March 29th.

Mr. Ashok was not ready to accept the issue i raised about the purple tint and simply throwed the handset on the table recklessly.

I had a feedback call on the same from Nokia Cust Care and i told the same thing. The nery next day he called me up and put a conference with someone whom he introduced to me as a area manager and asked to tell him the truth.

I Told everything which i had experienced with him and staff.

I feel this is the issue that he is playing with me.

I am sitting with a defective Nokia N8 handset with me and have no choice apart from calling him up only to listen that there is no stock for N8 displays yet or to come every 2 day to NCP only to return dejected.

After spending 23, 000 Bugs on a multimedia phone, I am just helpless!!

I am sorry to say this, but I started hating NOKIA, firstly for the in-efficient technicians worked on the Nokia N8 handset and secondly for recruting Managers like Askok who are like taking revenge on customers who try to bring the actual face of Nokia.

My sincere plead through this mail is...

NCP are the only people who are in direct contact with the customers, if they dont behave properly, it is straight blow to Nokia, because of which the customers are loosing their faith on Nokia.

If someone can help me out with this Nokia N8 display Problem, I would appreciate a lot!!

But now Tuticorin Nokia care center staffs were taking rudely and dont take any against my software problem mobile.my mobile number is [protected] plz take any action for this problem for avoiding future customer complaints...

I have purchased Nokia C3 Mobile on 15.01.2011 only seven months back. Suddenly My mobile display is not working. Mobile no other damage it self . I have given to service to Nokia Service Centre Alwarpet Branch. Only the Display problem. Change the Display for Rs. 3000/- . I am purchased mobile only Sevenmonths only . The warranty period is there only claimed 50% . why??. I am not put down any where. Why the display suddenly not working. I want the reason for your side. Please tell your reason

My sets`s warrenty has been expired on 08.08.2011 but i have applied to extend its warrenty for next year on 02.08.2011.But my warrenty has not been extended by nokia care centre.so help me out please to extend my warrenty.
